Yup. I saw that multiple fighters complained after the fact. Feel terrible for him to lose the belt that way.

Amazing performance once again though. Oliveira vs Makhachev should be next and I can’t wait to see it.

But he still is champ unless he loses his next fight which is the same situation he’d be in if belt wasn’t stripped. It’s a song and dance show. I’m sure it effects his purse but he still has to lose to actually lose the belt.

He is not currently the champion. The title is literally vacant right now. If he gets injured or something and can't compete by the time UFC decides to make a lightweight title fight, it won't be an interim title on the line, it will be undisputed.

Surprised nobody has mentioned that Michael Chandler knock out on Tony Ferguson.

We’re still reeling from the impact. Much like Tony…

Great fight indeed. Felt terrible watching the main event and seeing that happen. Don't want to spoil on those who haven't watched.

All-in on Nunes Pena not going the distance.

Props on Nunes in 2nd and win by KO.

Let the degeneracy begin.

edit: phuck 'Manda. She could have easily ended it in the 2nd but chose to turn her face into a rotten tomato for 5.

Respect to Pena, she never stopped going forward. Could have been a lot different with the sub attempts without the clash of heads that opened up that gusher.

Absolutely beautiful win for Mighty Mouse on Friday night. Undoubtedly the best Flyweight in the world…again. Dana White essentially trading him for Ben Askren is one of the stupidest moves in sports history.

Nah it wasn't, not for the fighter anyway. Mouse was completely done in the UFC and needed to get out.

Also even though Ben sucked through his sucking he made Jorge a decently big star for a brief period enough that UFC made a good payday using him for the fight island show.

Total joke. I actually prefer Nate vs Tony anyway and I think it's much more competitive.
