Kind of wondering why MLB itself hasn’t mentioned it on their website. They don’t market the sport very well. This would be a golden opportunity to do so. People are so starved for things to pay attention to. They’re missing the boat.

I'm sure that ESPN article generated a lot of buzz with people who don't buy baseball cards. This has moved beyond the baseball card collector.

Anybody in here think that the Willie Mays Thiele will eventually be a $1k card? I bought it for $60 weeks ago and it is selling north of $300. Thiele seems to be one of the most popular artist and that Mays PR is only 1400.

I just really need a Koufax though of Thiele. I probably need to bite the bullet and buy it now while its under $200.

I've been watching all day sorting on Buy It Now from Lowest to Highest....it's been quite entertaining watching the prices go up. There's lots of inventory, so I doubt we see $300+ on these, but I don't think $130 is out of the question.

I hope someone does something unique with Thomas. I was a big fan of his in the 90s, but I really don't like that card, wish they chose something else. Its only really "iconic" because of the no name error.

Not going out, but probably my last big splash. At least until I feel the calling to cash out some. I always end up reinvesting. Plus with being able to get the Ermsy Trout I will be putting his whole set together. Haven’t been so excited to collect something in forever.
