Relax dude, it’s just baseball cards.
It was explained to you why your bids didn’t count. You didn’t follow the rules in place for bidding and Mostown was just explaining that to you. If Houdini did count your bids how would that be fair to the person who did follow the the rules and won the spot.
It’s not the end of the world. We all have a bit of a learning curve when we first do these player auctions. If you want to stick with it you may get another chance to pick up those spots in the 50 case PYP break that might follow this and there will probably be another larger break like this one for Bowman Draft and now you know what not to do.

I believe "might" means if the spot didn't have any bids, he would go ahead and accept it.

ANy reason nobody wanted Edryn Rodriguez? If helps I'd take it to have a chrome spot at least since lost out on all the ones I tried. Unless he has a reason nobody bid on him.

Most of us appreciate that you run these and want you to do what's right for you, Houdini.

Echo Vinny on my ignorance the economics, but maybe there are workable alternatives:

-Putting the 50-caser out there, and shutting it down if it doesn't fill by a certain time?
-A 30-caser (15+15) instead of a 50-caser as a lower stakes option?
-An all Hobby option with modified pricing to account for the different auto odds?

Again, if you're just not feeling it, no pressure here. Thanks again!

I think this may have helped the auto spots, but probably hurt the base, as you said it was only 10 cases for base.

I will say that being older than many here I just can’t justify sticker autos. Give me a nice on-card auto and I feel that little connection to the signer.
