Just submitted another multi-seller order... the cart features clearly showing all the shipping policies and filtering ability make it so easy to determine to pull the trigger or hold on certain items.

Not a single sale this week. Always seem to notice a drop off during the final week of the month. Usually even slow weeks will produce some sale of a random card/player. Weird.

Separately, did an order with a single seller for $13 worth of cards to fill holes in one of my sets a week ago. Premium shipping since the card volume was so high, order marked as shipped, no tracking provided. Messaged the seller already to see if there were no updates and haven’t gotten a response. Been having a rash of single card purchases not arriving, now this. Getting annoyed having to order the same cards over and over.

My 3rd week was slow, but last week I had 18 orders. I hit my 17% fee and rolled 10 orders into October, over 100 bucks. No bragging though, because I had to say bye-bye to my double blue star friends-Bryan. I think the "covid shutdown" streak is gone. Several things have hit at the same time causing card sales and speculation to slow down. The free federal dollars are gone now, the suggestion of new tax laws-government tracking of any transactions of 600 dollars or more-, a lot of folks have gone back to work, retail supply chain shortages have folks buying Christmas presents now, while they're in stock, some long time box busters/ speculators have stopped buying because of high prices, and a lot of folks are seeing the rising prices on housing, groceries, clothes and have to reset their priorities. Hobbies always get pushed aside when finances tighten up.

Wish it was easier for sellers to contact buyers when an item is "out of stock" instead of unilaterally pulling it and shipping the order at the same rate of shipping. I know Max said a "key card" feature was coming that would put the order on hold if they can't/won't fulfill it. This happens too often.

Doesn't help that it showed up after the fact as an "order adjustment" after they had already "fulfilled" the order the previous day.

Another seller "fulfilled" my order, then hours later adjusts because it was already sold. Can a seller fill me in on how this works? Shortcoming of Sportlots' system somehow? My order wasn't fulfilled if you didn't have the card.

If I’m not mistaken, the only time the option to refund part of an order comes up is after it has been marked as complete. Prior to that, you can only adjust the quantity of an order.

How long do you usually wait before submitting an issue?

I did an order for 19 cards from a single seller, which needed to be bumped to premium shipping. The order is marked as shipped on 9/20, but no tracking info has been added. I contacted the seller five days ago asking if there were a tracking number, no response. My USPS Informed Delivery info doesn't show any incoming packages. I usually wait weeks on budget shipping, but by paying the premium shipping I would have thought that I would have least seen a label created in Informed Delivery by this point.

Has anyone noticed a large amount of yellow light buyer report cards recently? I don't get a lot of orders (about 50 60 a month), but I've noticed a lot of yellow lights this last week or two. Hopefully it's just an anomaly and not site wide.

So buyers have a report card too? How are buyers graded?

Side note... I could have bet money that an order I placed yesterday would have some items "adjusted"... sure enough 3 items that I assume sold for less than what the guy wanted were pulled from the order. Either a lot of seller's remorse or inventory misses going on.

Buyer report shows feedback given and number of transactions and % that they didn't follow through with. Here's one from an order I had this morning, I removed the buyers name.

Yours is green Matt, so you're good. lol

Buyers arent really graded, but we can see a breakdown of the types of feedback a buyer has left in the past (not the feedback comments). For example it might say 92 positives left, 4 negatives left, 0 neutrals left.

It also shows the types and amounts of orders a buyer has placed (auction or fixed price) and how many have gone unpaid.

As for me, I treat ever buyer the same because once the order has gotten to me it was obviously paid for.

October started out very nice, but today makes 3 straight days without a sale. It's weird how these months follow a pattern for me. Good/great start, rough middle, decent ending.

Mine has been exactly the same. 28 orders through October 10th, 1 1-card PWE order from the 10th-14th.

I'm combining orders as I go. Anything I'm doing wrong?

I've never encountered a situation like that on sportlots, but surely you had to see the postage amount being charged in your cart before you made the purchases?

Huh - I've occasionally seen sellers set crazy-high shipping rates to effectively take a break for a few weeks without stopping people from being able to store up cards in their cart for future purchase. But usually when I've seen that they've just set all their shipping rates to $99.99. (I remember bryanscs saying last time he did this he still got a couple of small orders from people that he then had to offer them the chance to cancel).

Just to check, you do know that you can:
1) Toggle between Budget, Premium, and Box shipping using the Set Shipping Options by Seller frame on the right of the cart just below the "Warning" message in red.
2) Choose to buy from some sellers in your cart but not others without losing the cards from the others from your cart using the Filter Shopping Cart by Seller frame on the right of your screen just below the Warning message. If you use that it only shows you the Sellers you check off for purposes of making the order - and the next time you navigate back to the cart all your cards from other sellers will be there.

Between those two, you can pick the best shipping option and exclude any sellers with crazy shipping rates (or that you need to find more cards from to justify a reasonable shipping rate).

I have two box orders pending since 9/25 and 10/6. Not complaining really, just ready to take shipment and these are the last two outstanding. I'm guessing they "fulfill" the orders to clear them and then hold shipment to the box until a later date when they accumulate more.

Edit: I think it's been brought up before, but seems like there are still quite a few sellers that are not participating in Box shipping. Guess it could be convoluted to keep track of.
