For the love of God, never let him play in the outfield again.

You sure? You want to see Eloy and his injuries in past years? There's the arm injury running into the wall his rookie year. Not an injury but the getting caught up in the foul ball net allowing an inside the park home run. The cake taken though is injured foot celebrating after Giolitos no hitter.

I literally said out loud, "don't hurt yourself," when I saw the ball was hit to Eloy. Next thing I see is him laying on the ground. He is such a good hitter, fielding not so much.

Good thing I’m in the middle of listing a bunch of Eloys to eBay that didn’t sell on BST last week

There's licensed BO doctors in the Tatis thread. They will be over shortly to give you the final prognosis on Eloy in just a few minutes. I can promise you its not good. He might need his left foot amputated.

That injury was ridiculous, but it just joins the list of crazy Eloy injuries. The positive thing, though, is that any time that he experiences any type of discomfort, he rolls around like he's been shot---so, hopefully this is another of his overreactions and is minor.

LeSean McCoy is famous for this behavior. Most any fantasy owners that have rostered him have seen this first hand at some point. Several years back (possibly his last decent/productive year) while he was on the Bills, he went down for an extended period of time....writhing in pain, rolling around and turning over and over. I called my buddy (fellow manager in my league) and he said "Yeah I just saw it, it looked really bad didn't it?" That was in the 2nd Quarter. When the 2nd half started, he trotted right on out like it never happened. I saw him do essentially the same thing a handful of times over the years. With Shady, I always had a feeling it was a bit of a "diva reaction". (Look at me, the star player is hurt) Then he would rocket right back up as if a miracle took place. I too saw the Eloy injury right as it happened. I thought at first he may have torn some ligaments in his arm, he DID APPEAR to "clutch on too long" to the fence. Hopefully its just a precautionary thing, taking him out.

How in the world? At what point do you just slide him over to DH?

Probably the same Doctors that thought Soroka would miss all of 2021.

Remember pages ago when people said he was injury prone and you said no he isn’t? It’s time to quietly back out the topic now.

They just reported on the radio here in Chicago that the injury looks serious and that he may miss significant time. I hope they're wrong.
So unavoidable too. I think he's trying way too hard because he hears how bad he is as a defender. 3 injuries in 3 straight seasons..ugh.
