I’m proud of Neil Magny. From not even making it to the finals on perhaps the worst ever season of TUF to tying GSP’s record for most ever wins in the Welterweight division. Absolutely maximizes the few skills he does have; most notably cardio. It makes cowards out of men who generally aren’t.

I just watched the One X co main events. Probably the easiest finish of Mighty Mouse’s life. Took him about 20 seconds to choke Rodtang unconscious. He also looked like he won round one in in the striking only round.

I was pulling for Stamp vs Angela Lee but Lee’s grappling is definitely on another level. I think Stamps ground game has come a long way in a short time but she has a long way to go to be able to grapple with top level mma fighters.

ONE FC is an awesome org... they are putting on great events.

They have some card sets sold at Japanese events. I have 2.... one came in a nice leather binder with a sharpie for TTM autos... my mighty mouse is signed.

Khamzat wins. Not sure why he refused to wrestle after round 1. My guess is ego and/or adrenaline. He wanted to box and get the KO. That won't work against Usman. Khabib was successful because of his insane discipline, Khamzat has to find some.

All ego. Wanted to simply end it.

I am surprised he didn't go the left more, as he kept on hitting the target.

Maybe ego, maybe just inexperience and he got caught up in the moment. Not sure he attempted a takedown after R1 though.

A fight with Usman will primarily be a stand up fight as their wrestling will neutralize each other.

The "bring it on" hand motion stuff won't fly with a guy that is strong enough to knock him out.

Personally I think Khamzat can out wrestle Usman, but we weren't able to find out much tonight on that

Khamzat may want to see if his tank can last for 3 rounds, so he didn't try to take Burns down. I don't know but Khamzat didn't have good defense, and let Burns landed some serious punches. As long as Khamzat's wing span, he should have a better distance control to try to stand up flight. He is still some area to be improved to uptake Usman.

I agree - Khamzat was humbled, and he needed it.

Anyone have any info as to where I can order photos from UFC events? I'm especially looking for photos of referee Mike Beltran that I can have him sign. I know getty images is an option but not for the price. Thanks!

So you want the photographers work.. just without paying for it?

Now apply that to your job.

You can email Getty and request a price for an image if you outline it *will not* be used for commercial purposes. You'd be looking at the $30 range, rather than $350.

Thanks for the tip! I wasn't looking to rip anyone off so I'd be happy to pay $30 instead of $350

Weak sauce, Oliveira missed weight by half a pound.

Ridiculous. How can you let that happen when you have the belt. *Had the belt.

stripped of title.

Even if he wins tomorrow, the belt will still be vacant. Gaethje can win it tho.

How does nobody in his camp know the rules?

They do. It’s the FIFTH time he’s missed weight in the UFC alone.

Not really. If Olivera wins then his next fight will be for the “vacant” title so he still has to lose to lose the title. Title stripped on paper but not in reality. UFC needs to get away from weight cutting. It’s not healthy and it’s just stupid.

This is the 5th time he's missed weight as a champion?

Champions have to make weight... others are just fined right? That's the rule I'm talking about.

This is he first time he's missed weight since he's been champion and the first time he's missed at lightweight. The other four misses were all at featherweight.

Anyone fighting for a title, not just the champion, has to make weight exactly. There's no one pound allowance like non-title fights.

Will Oliveira have priority to fight for the belt? or will UFC create an interim champion before having a real lightweight champ?

Really does sound like the athletic commission really screwed up in terms of the scales. I don’t know all the details and who knows if it’s true but it sounded like he nailed the weight on the electronic scales in the back both times and then the official scale he was off.
