im in the same boat as you. i thought it was low but my friend said he buys them at that percent all the time. i want to make more comc sales or sell my port but im usually unsuccessful at either. let me know what you find or if you find that thread the guy mentioned.

Sure will! If port sales are going for that low I'm willing to let my cards sit in the port. I see no value in letting cards go for pennies on the dollar. I've found some success in creating sale promotions to liquidate my port. It may be the best way to maximize your sales while limiting your profit or loss.

I've checked a few different cards in EX buckets and they all have duplicates listed on ebay. There is no difference between the two listings besides the picture and the price. If the EX cards are going to be listed there should be some indication of the condition. I'm sure it will be fixed eventually, but knowing is half the battle. I'd email them to report this error, but past efforts discourage me from doing so.

Here is an example of a card with 2 available in EX - one has a condition note, the other doesn't. Based on my brief experience, the EX cards usually do not have condition notes.

2019 Bowman Purple/250 #76 Jake Bauers Cleveland Indians Rookie Baseball Card

And the raw card:
2019 Bowman Purple/250 #76 Jake Bauers Cleveland Indians Rookie Baseball Card

--------------------
--------------------

After futher investigation, it appears that various listings for conditions with no indication of the condition has been common practice (see any vintage card). Looking at lack of negative feedback regarding condition, this definitely will not be fixed. Never mind.
Some do actually show condition notes. I'm going to forget all about the "raw" listing for now. With the two for sale on COMC in the EX - NM, one has condition notes and the other does not. What's infuriating is that they should BOTH have condition notes via both sites.

https://www.comc.com/Cards/Baseball/...ded/COMC/EX-NM

I don't get why they are marking some cards with notes and others not, I've tried to have several fixed to no avail. Does it have "corner wear" or "print lines"? The one listed that is more expensive has condition notes on eBay but the one probably priced correctly due to condition does not, but the eBay buyer isn't made aware.

This whole new system sucks and there are a lot of issues with it. Some people may not even complain but they likely should, given that COMC is making a lot of errors right now with these new condition sensitive listings dropping into their own bucket.

Hard to keep track of all the accounts on COMC so I don’t want to miss anything.

I think 3124508, and corndog (not a buddy of mine,) have done an amazing job of helping expose the, erm, inefficiencies of TPGs, and obviously many of those cards ended up on COMC, as well as trimmed raw cards evidently. That said, he seems hellbent on trying to catch COMC out - witness his "I'll quote you on that" response to one of James' rather generic answers, the fact that the bombshell was dropped on a Sunday, and his repeated "how is the audit going?" line. That sort of sniping would be better left to people wondering 'where that Tim guy' went imo.

You bring nothing to this conversation. You leave out huge parts of this fraud. Why? They have at least one employee who is close friends and business partners with one of the biggest frauds in the hobby. That employee still sells cards on comc. Comc was also very close with Jonathan Miller and helped him carryout his fraud by promoting his account and giving him special benefits other sellers did not receive. They need to explain if they were active participants in the fraud or just ignorant of it and if so how.

They're looking into are they not? We all know from your posts on this thread, from long before this scandal broke, that you have beef with COMC. You also said they'd been provided proof prior to the Sunday bombshell, but upon being pressed, this turned out to not be the case.

Not true and I did provide them evidence a week before. Also they had information because at least one of their employees was deeply involved with Jonathan. Julia contacted me last week to discuss and collect information. I want them to succeed. I also want the fraud to be stopped and people held accountable. As I told her they need to share with their customers sooner than later. Holding feet to the fire is the only way change will happen.

How many buyers of trimmed cards have been contacted?

How has people's experience been with the condition of low dollar cards? It's not easy to tell how sharp the corners are in the scans. As of now, I've left all my purchases at COMC's warehouse and plan to eventually ship in one big package. I'm having second thoughts about waiting because I'd be out of their return policy if I'm shipping once every month or so. I'd also hate to bother anyone asking about white corners on $2 cards they probably have no idea about themselves. I don't expect 100% to be gem but I'd be unhappy if I'm getting many cards with two obvious white corners on the normal listing(not the EX-NM one)

The 2,000+ low dollar cards that I have purchased I have had 4 or 5 which appeared to be damaged in shipment as the cards had creases or ding corners. The scans of the cards on COMC did not show any damages like that on them. I called and they refunded the money and did not want the cards back.

They set in my account for months before I received them

I have shipped over 10k that I bought and have had only a handful of cards being damaged. They aren't all 10s nor would I expect them to be. They will give a refund for damaged cards as Bundler said. I think they are really great at selling cards as described. Stuff happens but considering their volume it is very minimal.

I had a COMC package that required signature. I don't remember this being the case in the past? Is there a $ threshold where they add signature delivery.
