It's funny cause today is dedicated to the greatest moment of franchise history, but these old guys are the ones that are going to see a living legend.

I've never seen Ohtani so expressive in disagreement than that strikeout call. Ball was clearly way outside.

Nah, he's done. Looked so relieved walking to the dugout

So are the Royals to get to the bullpen. Hell, they might even have a shot now.

It was the right call IMO. He is most definitely an old-school hoss of a pitcher when he's on but he's had quite a remarkable couple days and they should be able to finish this off.

Still, really scary talent on display these past two games.

I'm not sure how pre-2018 me would have handled hearing this but I know I would've laughed:

"So, last night this kid from Japan hit two HR's -each over 420 ft- and drove in 8 runs... But, it wasn't enough for the win. Anyway, tonight he was the starting pitcher and struck out 13 over 8 scoreless while not giving up a hit after the 1st. Oh, and he also got on base 3 times in a game in which he - as a pitcher - allowed three baserunners."

Incredible. I can't help but to just root for him, so fun to watch.

No Trout, no Walsh...no problem! Unbelievable. I fell asleep after the 1st inning, so you're welcome.

Tied for 8th in the MLB in Ks, with (among others) Sandy Alcantara...not too shabby.

The idea that he can have 8 rbi one night then 13k the next night is insane.

Sho has got to be MVP if he stays healthy, right? Even if his numbers are not nearly as good as last year, he is doing things no one has ever done before. He's incredible.

It is fun to watch this young man play...that is for darn sure.

6-4 with a 2.90 era....he just made up some (but there is a lot) ground on #99!
