Wow, I'm really surprised. I have had a TON of luck. Today alone I set up about 4 or 5 meet ups with people. Made the deal this morning with the Nike stuff, another where I bought a HUGE lot of brand new Sharpie's and expensive pens for $300. Should do really well with them. Also have someone on the hook with some very collectible action figures for extremely cheap, and picking up an iPhone 5s later for $60. Even have someone else with a few NES consoles, a DS and a few random games for $25.

Just have to find the people that need money quick. The deals are out there, they just have to be found.

Yah once letgo started advertising on tv it went to #@#@#@#@ here. Everyone sells stuff for way more than it's worth, and then cuss and block you when you offer 10% less than eBay for it. And then when you don't accept their offers of 80% off eBay they cuss you and block you

Yeah, i've noticed cards are a tough buy on there. People think they're worth millions. You honestly have to just look for the right stuff. I've had tons of success with electronics. Seems like people always need to sell their phones.

It shocks me how much recent stuff people just throw away. Grabbed a Zach Grienke Arizona Diamondbacks Jersey T-Shirt today for $1.79 at Goodwill. Within one baseball season, someone purchased the shirt for $30-$35 and subsequently gave it to Goodwill. Their loss my gain..

Found a Champions Jamal Mashburn Dallas Mavericks jersey today. Picked up about 10 items in total, nothing too crazy, but did buy my first pair of blue jeans, we'll see how they do, they were Marithe Francois Girbaud jeans which seem to sell well. We'll see.

Had a good weekend, a little over $200 in sales. My 4XL Ralph Lauren Polo's seem to sell very well and also sold these 2 All Blacks Rugby jersey for $30 each that my GF gave to me for free lol.

Do you guys have any tips for finding RL Polos? I haven't EVER found one, well one that the thrift store wanted $30 for.

What's a good buying point if I do find one?

Under $5 if it's plain but I don't even pick those up. I'll go $5 if it's a big size. Then if it's a collectible one then paying more can be worth it.

I'll have to do some Google research about Polo then. Still, never seen but that one before. Never even seen one at a garage sale. There's some Mexicans who have suspect new "name brand" clothing at the swap meet....but they all seem to look a bit off, so I've never bought any. I figured a real RL polo wouldn't have the polo emblem slightly crooked, or just plain feel like a $3 Walmart polo.

Sigh, the only stuff around here that seems good to flip are trains, n64 games, and records.

They are all over the place here, from new to vintage(I never see Brooks Brothers or Patagonia). I typically will not pay more than 4.00 for any if I do buy them. If I bought everyone I see I would be out of storage room quick. I do sell them though, but they are mostly low profit/easy sellers.

I find them at garage sales for 1.00 pretty frequently. If they are not torn or stained I snag all them.

Almost didn't even look this up because it wasn't a board game I wanted for my coection. Turns out it goes for ~250 on eBay! Paid $6.

I am very selective on Ralph Lauren stuff just because its very common in the thrift stores and online. Really only buy if its a NWT item, the purple label, or the softer cotton blend custom fit polos. Also if its a very large (4XL) item I buy it if its in decent condition.

I would not have looked it up either, would have been a no-brainer purchase for me. Lately most board games that are in good shape have become no brainer for me. Many can be parted out for very good profit.

Meaning if the board game is incomplete, the pieces/cards can be sold individually as like replacements for people?

correct, in many cases like Monopoly games it is far better to part them out. May take longer to sell and deal with, but most pieces are small and easy to store

Are there any games you tend to stay away from?

Gotcha. Thanks, I always pass them up at garage sales. Even the niche, obscure ones cuz they always seem to be incomplete in some ways. I guess now it's worth the .50 cent to 2 dollar gamble.

Finally convinced myself to venture into the t shirt section I've been avoiding for so long. Turns out it can be pretty fun. I bought five t shirts, including the one below. I can see where it's time consuming but you're also gonna see a lot of items in the t shirt section you wouldn't find in the regular clothing section so it's a nice change of pace.

I just checked out the local letgo for the first time. All I saw was a bunch of overpriced junk in my city. Somebody even had a PHONE BOOK on there for $7. They seem to throw one in my driveway about once a week. Maybe I should start selling them!
