Agreed. I passed easily on those Infrared VI last month and will be passing on the Legend Blue XI as well. General Release Jordans do absolutely nothing for me and every wannabe thug in America seems to be wearing them the same weekend they release. Hardly ever buy Jordans anymore for that reason

Respect. Another crazy pickup. Snakeskin lows were slept on. I can tell whoever originally owned them preserved the soles pretty well. I always liked that Jordan face box and thought they should bring it back along with the retro cards.

As far as the Legend Blues go, I think the shoe is a CLASSIC but I personally can't justify paying $200 for a sneaker that originally retailed at $125. Same technology, same mold but $75 more just for special packaging. If I miraculously come across a pair with a discount I may cop but otherwise I'm sitting it out.

My sweet spot for retro jordans are 4, 5, 6, 7 as they remind me of when I was a youngin' and had those. The next retro pair I'll cop is probably the Hare Jordan 7's that come out in May 2015.

I also have my eye on the BHM KD7.

All those Jordans are classics and I can understand why some people would want them for nostalgic reasons. But with that Remastering BS that Jordan Brand is trying to feed to the consumers, the retros from here on out will all be around $200 or more. I know they will still sellout instantly at those prices, but I will not be one of those people buying them. The last Jordans I bought were $160 retail and I promised myself I would stop buying Jordans if they ever went over that price

Champs has the Retro 5 Oreo's for $170 shipped. Only have size 12 right now though. Was going to pick up a pair but decided against it due to that stupid large tongue.

I ordered the jordan 1 black gums( limited release $140) last Saturday and it finally came in today, but nike.com sent me a general release jordan 1($90)...any one else got shipped the wrong shoes? Im 99.99% sure the black gums are out of stock and am hesitant to take the refund because i feel ripped. I know mistakes happen, but this one hurts. any advice or help will be great

Really nothing you can do man, just call them up and explain what happened and ask them to send you a prepaid return label if they did not include one with your shipment. I'm sure they have a few of the Gum's held back so you could ask about switching them out I guess. Sorry man that sucks.

I have never been shipped the wrong shoes directly from Nike.
The AJ1 Black/Gums are out of stock right now.
I would call and explain what happened and hopefully a nice CSR will help you out.

And yeah, the AJ1 Black/Gum are out of stock. Take the refund and look for them at a different retailer or the bay.

Yeah, the ice sole always yellow, no matter how well you keep them. You can dump them on eBay for a few extra dollars, not much room for profit since shipping shoes is relatively expensive compared to bubble mailers for cards.

If you got them for $180 plus tax .... let's say $195. Put them on eBay for $250. Take out the fees for ebay... $225... PayPal.... $215... and then shipping $17.90 in a large priority box... you make a whopping $2.
