Sound like the injury might not be as bad as we all assumed based on manager comments. Hopefully it can just be a short IL stint. And hopefully he shaves and gets a haircut as well.

I'm hoping it's not too serious...a quick 10 day IL stint to rest and fully heal. It sucks if he misses the All Star Game, but the D'backs need him at full strength in August and September.

I'm pretty sure this is what caused him to miss all of 2021. He really would have been just that much higher rated of a prospect had he gotten to play any of 2020 and 2021. That he's an MVP candidate in 2023 just shows what a high level of talent he has.

Well, this is great news. Lovullo also said Carroll could be ready to go a lot lot sooner than most people expect. Sounds like Carroll himself is extremely cautious of injury, not a bad thing. Let's hope they give him some time to rest up a little and aim to be ready for a nice run after the All-Star break

That’s great news. Makes me wonder if Carroll will have reoccurring issues.

Don’t worry too much, he’s still an adult & can fend for himself. He ain’t worried about card value or fantasy results is my guess.
