I looked up both COA numbers on tri star and they both matched and are authentic. It’s a beautiful piece. Framing job alone looks to be $500+. Should I be skeptical?

It’s too bad you’re in denial. Montana can’t hold a candle to Brady’s accomplishments. What he has done at 40+ will never be accomplished again either. He just keeps setting record after record. Oh yeah Montana had a certain receiver who is the GOAT at his position. Brady had spare parts his whole career other than one good year with Moss. It truly is remarkable what he has accomplished just enjoy greatness my friend!

Not a rookie, but what would normally be a really nice low numbered parallel. Was wondering if it'd get relisted with no mention of the surface issues so, in case you see the platinum '04 Ultimate Collection /10, here's images of the severe surface issues you cannot see in the photos or anywhere in the description. Condition is looks to still be listed as "brand new" in the descriptors.









Figured it might save someone else from wasting their time.

Nice. Always liked the SPx and have wondered why it has never been more popular, although I do think it's been the #3 card behind the SP Auth and Contender for many years now. Really wished I pursued this card back in the day, but I stopped buying Brady rookies back in late '04/early '05 when the Pats were going after SB win #3 and 1st year Brady cards had taken off beyond what I wanted to pay.

Yeah I don't know why the SPx is not as popular. It's a great looking card. Didn't the SPx card have two versions. This version and a lower print run one?

The platinum Spectrum version is a #/25 Card. Had a chance to buy one in PSA 10 for $1500, but passed on it. Thought it was WAY overpriced at the time. What a mistake.

There is currently a SPx spectrum BGS 9.5 on ebay. It'll be interesting to see how much the card goes for. Lots of SPx cards, but the spectrum rarely shows up. Same with the other low numbered Brady rookies like the EX, Leaf Limited, or the Leaf Rookies and Stars Longevity.

I would assume the prices are where their at and rising due to people buying and holding long term, thus taking more cards out of the market. Maybe I'm just assuming that's the case.
