The sticker doesn’t seem to hurt too much. It certainly doesn’t hold back the Tatis and Acuna Update autos. I’m very anti-sticker, but I expect the Vlad RD sticker auto to have its moment. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Ah! I missed bidding on that. I got my 14-minute notice from the ebay app, then got distracted by the kids. That’s an amazing buy—especially considering that it wasn’t all that much more than what people are paying for PSA 10’s of the NNO and Topps Chrome refractors. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I honestly thought I was too low on it. Only 10 have been graded: 4 BGS 9.5s, 4 BGS 9’s, 1 PSA 8 and 1 PSA 9. Really happy to land this one, nines are just fine Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

-yeah it's called mlb and the mlbpa have no idea how to market the game and don't pay developing players anything and so the moment a kid is drafted or reaches the bigs and an agent sees potential-like a bieber, they sign an exclusive autograph contract w/some dealer and refuse to sign or engage w/fans including through team events.
-what happens is that the players union is terribly run and driven by veteran superstars whose agenda is amenities like chefs and extra seats on planes so rookies and anyone who isn't mike trout see 10% of what they should be paid (and the minors guys don't even get that) so their income is now reliant on memorabilia and autograph signings and and they act like a-holes w/fans. -all this auto stuff you guys post w/cards, it seems special because it's an auto or jersey but whereas in the mays generation guys were issued 3 jerseys a year and signed for peoples hobbies and was generally then thrown out or on a program, this is now a guy like vlads income and I just don't see a continued value here that some of you obsess about. |

These seem like generalizations rather than an experience with Guerrero himself. Joe, did you forget to change your account again? |

I've met guerrero several times including his rookie year and what he thinks of himself and his position is why the game has turned so many ppl off. Baseball players are supposed to earn $ playing baseball and marketing soft drinks, cars, and banks and right now most of them are reliant on memorabilia/card deals then their mlb salaries and thats it.

I've met Vlad three times so far and each time he was nothing but cool. Maybe it's...YOU.

I still don't understand what his beef with Vlad is.

He asked some 5'10" fella he thought was Vlad for an autograph and that guy told him to go pork his hat. Now he's here telling us that Vlad is grumpy, missing the irony entirely.

-I don't expect you to care about any of that but what for you counts is that value is determined by scarcity and if young stars like vlad are heavily reliant on card and memorabilia deals for income they're going to sign a ton of these cards and some point over saturate the market and lead to a decline in value of your collections. |

Also, Vlad is a millionaire on his own having been signed by the Jays for $3 million. His father is worth $60 million. Other young stars aren't as lucky, but again, we all get it. Thanks for your help, though. Much appreciated.
