Listened to Siriani on the phone with 94.1 on the way into work this morning - it's one of the two major sports stations in the Greater Philadelphia area - he didn't show his cards / tip off anything about Hurts' status, Pickett's status, or McKee's status.

Only slight hint was that he said all 53 guys - then said actually all 70 guys, including our practice squad, work diligently each week... blah blah. I thought the practice squad mention was interesting.

Other than that, Philly as you know if a crazy sports market, especially for football, and if you played in the city for five or more years and were known as a grinder, a hard worker, or were a superstar, you'll have a job for life after retirement either being a radio host on one of the two major local sports networks, working for one of the local ABC, NBC, or CBS affiliates, working for NBC Sports Philadelphia (cable channel - used to be called Comcast Sportsnet) or one of a zillion other gigs.

Some of the bigger names, including Seth Joyner, has been lobbying for McKee to get the start if Hurts can't go, citing that McKee is more of a pure passer, he has great WRs to throw to, and the running game would only benefit from McKee being in there, because Washington was loading up 8 in the box, unafraid of Pickett's 5-7 yard slants and outs, whereas Dallas would have to respect McKee's arm and long ball, thus putting less players in the box, and giving Barkley a chance to run out of PLAY ACTION - THERE'S A FRIGGIN CONCEPT!

So anyway, if Hurts can't go, I concur with Seth Joyner and others who have said put McKee in - teams know what Pickett can do, but McKee would be hard to plan for, and a real wild card playing with AJ Brown / Devonta Smith / Johan Dotson / Saquon Barkley.

If you're looking to flip cards, make sure you have your BIN's posted by 1pm Sunday - as the Cowboys / Eagles game got flexed back from 4:25 to 1:00pm, and Green Bay / Minnesota got moved up to 4:25 from 1:00pm.

First of all, fantastic reporting here. I genuinely appreciate the update.

Second, some interesting points raised here in the Jayden Daniels thread.

I wonder how much of the McKee excitement comes from the fact that the only QBs anyone can really afford to "get in on the ground floor" with are late-round or undrafted guys. When we've got guys like Arch Manning who already have Super Bowls built into their prices, it's probably not a good sign for the hobby.

Dumb as heck. He talked to the media and said he's going to have to run the ball some in those RPOs to keep the defense honest. Plan on Pickett fumbling at least twice in that case with his small ass hands. And look for McKee to enter the game after Parsons takes his head off if he truly is going to be running in RPO situations.

I don't see Pickett doing too much RPO, I see him trying to feed Barkley a lot. The good thing is, the Eagles need to win this game, so if the Cowboys can keep up and push them, maybe Pickett has to throw, and if he's looking crappy or hurt, we then see McKee. Cowboys have come to play last couple games

At this point the best I can do is root for a better draft pick—so the Cowboys stifling Pickett and then giving up 400 yards to McKee would be a perfect game for me.
