Thanks, was mostly curious about the Update cards. Hopefully I can find some Target hangers, I like Fire, and those preview cards look nice.

Found 9 Cellos at a Walmart. Decided to rip 4 and list the other 5 on eBay to cover the costs. The store I found it at had a full display, just took what was left so got super lucky that it wasn't ransacked.

My LCS is going one better than Blowout and selling Hobby boxes for $300 and Jumbos for $450.

Wildwood had a limited stock of retail on their site, was able to get 50 value packs, 24 hangers, didn't mess with the blasters since I ordered some on Topps. Only the blasters were a tad above MSRP and no tax!

I don't think we will see anything on Topps site today. Didn't see any mention to it being available in the email either that included the Star Wars Perspectives.

On the day the rep visits my town.

The only baseball cards of any kind on offer were this weird re-pack product that offers 2 ‘packs’ of 2019 S1 of 10 cards each but no odds on wrapper and nothing in them but pure base cards (what product were those even in back on ‘19?). $5, 20 base. But since even the 2019 Opening Day is now cleaned out also, I expect those will go too.

I have my doubts I will ever see this product on the shelves, as during Judge mania. I know my local rep dabbles in card sales himself.

So much for just casually ripping a little Big League and S2 while catching a few live ball games.

Maybe you are ok with staking out Targets, what I did was bad enough and I couldn't justify sitting there wasting the day. I almost didnt bother going back out. This wasnt a big deal I was just sharing what my experience was like chasing retail.

As for people struggling financially I have sympathy but not for people who are buying sports cards. I'll also point out a lot of those unemployed were making $600 a week more on unemployment than when they were working. Having said that, I do sympathize for anyone struggling in this screwed up economy.

Makes total sense. I figured that was the case/was slightly joking. Seems like a cool LCS owner. Wish there were more of him, but I also respect that they're already probably running on thin margins.
