Learn how to have a civil conversation, it's really not that hard to do. People like you who call others who disagree with you "mislead losers" are the reason why we haven't been able to talk politics on here without the threads getting closed

Most people here are too young to remember the controversial cattle futures profits that Hillary made in the late 1970's as first lady of Arkansas. This all came to light in about 1994. Various economic experts studied the trades and profits that netted her $100,000 on an initial $1,000 investment and calculated that she had a 1 in 31 trillion odds to make 100 times her initial investment.

She has been knee deep in shady dealings for decades and the Clinton Foundation/speaking fees is her biggest yet.

So Trump's lying and stealing from hard working American's is OK but Clinton's isn't? Trump lying and taking advantage of bankruptcy law to put other businesses in trouble to make his better is OK but Clinton sending emails from a server at home isn't? So basically Trump is a lying sack also but since he is brutally honest on some other things no one talks about it. I'm so confused how this is the calling card and the things the GOP is hanging on to.

Trump has not actually said one thing he is going to do, outside of building a wall that Mexico is "going to pay for", unless I missed it tonight. I have the evening recorded so I can watch the speech when the mrs. goes to bed. Trump wants to make other businesses stay in the US but it is OK for the past 30 years for him to take advantage of tax laws? His supporters don't think that he is in it for rich folks like himself, but they are in it for them? There is a reason Trump is losing the college educated vote and says how much he loves the uneducated.

He completely takes advantage of fear (great sales tactic) and is as vague as he can possibly be so people can conjure up their own ideas on his key words. The man is one of the best salesman and an amazing communicator but he is downright scary as POTUS. He has absolutely no experience in politics and shows it every single time he goes on stage or to his keyboard.

I still haven't read (admittedly haven't read a lot of this thread) anything that has a positive point about Trump. It's a lot of "well Clinton did these 2 things and a few more.....so Trump is better". Just because he is louder and more aggressive doesn't mean he is better.

I've said it a few times already. I really hope Gary Johnson gets onto the debate stage because it could be a game changer. In an election season like this where both parties absolutely despise the other someone in the middle that makes up a "common sense" party could surprise everyone.

.....how is the crowd at the GOP convention actually buying this fearmongering that they are in greater danger than ever and we need tougher laws???

Acting like the world is falling apart is a time honored tradition for both sides of the aisle. Angry people don't want to hear that things are empirically improving when their anecdotal evidence says otherwise and satisfied people will vote for the same party they did last time.
