How come when you cash out COMC credit for Blowout gift certificates its not instant? The COMC credit instantly comes out of your account. Seems like itd be a automated type of thing.

I would guess that there is something on the backend that needs to be done manually.

On raw cards, they will take the refunds pretty easily. They should have caught the trimming when it was processed. Not sure if they return it all the way to the seller or just eat the cost themselves.

On graded cards, they will probably request that you go back to the grading company for any grade guarantee that is offered. So PSA has one, SGC used to, and Beckett has none, to my knowledge.

They will refund and charge back the consignor. They are pretty good about denying them I believe. I have had some over the years be rejected that were cheap cards in the giant batches I have submitted. I didn't check if they really were trimmed. I just would donate them in their system. I am guessing they measure.

Now trimmed cards like the ones in all the other threads for TPGs I have no idea but I would hope they would refund and contact the FBI.

on COMC, does the 100 items shipped for $5 credit carry over month to month? I finally went over and had them shipped and now have 29 cards before my next credit, but wasnt sure if that resets at the end of the month.

This is why I only try to ship exactly 100 each time and leave the rest on COMC. Otherwise you are losing out unless you are able to ship 100 cards twice in one month's time.

They are terrible with shipping, but my orders only take 2 weeks to pack and another 6 before they finally arrive.

Or are you overseas like me and the cards just haven't arrived.

I'm also waiting for cards I orderd in June.

There is now a single receipt with a QR Tag that you can scan for the full itemized receipt. Apparently the 0.25 per card plus the 3.00 isn't enough to afford some paper.

Now that is crazy. I pulled a Desert Shield Mays from some blasters I bought on Blowout Black Friday last year and it sold within a day on eBay for $150. Was it one you uploaded? Or did you buy it to flip and not recognize the variation?

I found some super rare cards that COMC actually listed correctly (I think) that the seller priced as base cards. I'm having COMC confirm that they're the rare version, and if so, I'll return them to the owner. I like flipping, but if I got a $1000 in cards for $20, I'd feel too much remorse to keep them. I knew if I didn't snatch them up, someone else would have and then shipped them offsite.

Added: Just checked the 100 cards in the subset. There weren't any more hiding in plain sight.

It's kind of superfluous. You can download the same sheet from your dashboard under "Shipping History." But yeah, they should probably have a packing slip to increase the trust level. As long as they don't add single-use plastic packing materials... ;-)

I bought it from another seller, probably during a sale they had. I had no idea until tonight of the desert shield parallels. I've had it for sale for 15 months as the base version which I find amazing. I mean it does look exactly like the base version.

I don't understand how the original owner missed it while having the card in hand. And then COMC also missed it while processing the item.

I sometimes benefit from small mistakes in listings, so that is why I am not too upset. Ignorance is bliss I guess lol.
