One can only hope. Just as long as he doesn't make any more boneheaded running mistakes like his first hit.

Hey I don't really care. Whomever reported someone because their feelings were hurt is Charmin soft IMO.

I thought your post said "reported" at the end. If I was incorrect (it's obviously gone since it quoted the original post by pete), I apologize.

I can't remember him ever having a hot stretch all season. Maybe he can have it in October.

That was not me. Some of his comments were wrong but not reported by me

I don't think he's going to swing at a pitch 5 feet off the plate away.

Two outs. Let's close it out with Straw at the plate.

Awesome Game 1 win for the Yankees.

Great news for the team was that Cole was good, Donaldson and Rizzo started hitting, the bullpen looked good, and the Yankees showed others not named Judge could knock in their runs.

That was such over managing. Wandy should of just closed it down. Thankfully Cleveland sucks.

I just wish we had another option at closer right now.

This is going to get real interesting
Looks like game 2 will be played on Friday - it’s going to rain all day / night Thursday

Saturday in Cleveland has rain in the forecast all day/night
Sunday is supposed to be a clear day/night
But rain and temperatures in the low 40’s is the forecast for Monday,Tuesday & Wednesday

May sound stupid but would they even think about a day night doubleheader on Sunday?
Or force the players & fans to sit thru cold rain just to get the games in as scheduled?

I'm not sure, but I feel like the downfall that occurred in the second half can be traced back to King's injury. Man alive it's crazy how dominant the bullpen was with him, compared to now, when just about every single reliever is on the IL, dropping more daily, the latest being Effross. I just don't know how you win a 7 game series (or even a five game) with the shadow of a ghost of a bullpen. Here's hoping Wandy Peralta, Lasgna, Luetge and Clark Schmidt catch fire.

If they have to play a double header in the playoffs, MLB sucks! Play Game 2 tomorrow instead of having them sit around with their thumbs up their butts.

But it wasn't the pitching that collapsed, it was the offense. No one not named Judge was hitting and too many regulars were on the IL.

By the way, it looks like DJ is out for the season with a broken foot.

I won the entire 2022 Topps Chrome Yankees set for $1.25 off E-bay last night. I'm sure the Judge base card is worth more than that.

My guess is possibly 2 Yankees Topps Now cards today. One for Cole and one for Rizzo.

I originally thought about that one too but decided Topps may have way too many cards with having 4 games. Than again, knowing Topps, they may make 15+ cards from yesterday's games.

First home run as a Yankee and it came in his first playoff game with them, they may deem it worthy.
