the website link is actually the issue. You can't augment the code of a site to manually add to cart if you dont know the page url to begin with.

There has been a back door for many products through the app. Usually Topps shuts the app down during presales but didn’t do it today.

man I have to go order from the UK now to get affordable cards...is that what it has come down to Topps?

I was able to renew thanks to the link posted earlier but I sent a message to topps also about how crappy it is that existing members didn’t get to renew. I think if we all hit them up we might be able to help the other guys out. This is total crap.

You would hope Topps could just validate the renewals, and any account buying a membership renewal that previously did not have an account would just be permanently banned.

Heck, any account CREATED after the last MC sign up date that bought in as a renewal can be instantly deleted.

I've sent them a message for each "category" they have listed on the email so that wherever they get routed, hopefully one gets to the right person...

LOL, that would be like eBay banning sellers for putting "PSA 10?" in their titles. They will never turn away money.

Nice idea but those kinds of messages just go into Topps' round bin. Unless they fix the issue over the weekend, anyone who's been shut out of renewing can look forward to hours on hold Monday.

Great. Topps allows non-members and Bots to buy up all the renewal memberships for 2021. Fitting end to 2020. Yes, it was sold out when I went there after getting the email.

I didn't get it from here. I just saw a note on twitter that memberships were going up today and then searched 582 on my phone app and checked out like 3 hours ago. It was right on the app.

Default Topps.Com - What a joke

So no renewal for me. I received the email at 2.58 to renew my membership but I can not get in. As usual, Topps screwed a lot of us over. I will contact them Monday to get my renewal and if I am told they are sold out, I think that will be the last straw.

I will have to see if there are legal options at this point just on principal. I have supported this company as a collector for over 45 years and have learned one thing, they do not care about the collector. Only the bottom line. I am tired of the excuses. Everyone who was a current member should have been able to renew their membership and Topps should stand by that.

ooof. I wouldnt be happy right now if I were a 2020 member that didnt get to purchase one. Hopefully Topps does some cancellations.

In any normal hobby people would not try to renew a nonexistent membership.

This just shows that card collecting is not a normal hobby.
