Oddly though I got an N9 on a 2022 Topps Silver Pack Mike Trout Auto. Not sure why.

Sorry was away earlier in the week and couldn't get this posted up regularly. Gonna be traveling again from the 16-24th and then the end of April. Super busy month :/

Have a call with my rep today about improving our flow of return orders so maybe we can stop with the smash and then nothing system we are currently in.

For those considering grading to consignment we are looking at under 3 weeks right now. We have hired a lot, trained a lot and become a lot more efficient with the new space and website.

I agree 70% is acceptable. It's my target percentage.

The problem with hitting only 70% in a sub is when I get a cranky grader it will push my % down. My last sub was better though at 27/30. That puts me at 81% overall, so a little leeway. I have no more outstanding, but a bunch ready to go when the price comes back to $25. I don't expect to get another sub back until January 2023, so it will take some time to build up sample size.

I just had the worst personal order ever pop. This one was wild. Normally I have a very solid gem rate.

Yeah I really don’t know what happened. Had a few 2021 Topps rookies in there that I just wanted for pc and every single one got a 9 and I specifically remember having like 10 of each and picking at the best 1 of each to send. Doesn’t make a lot of sense to me. Especially since I just sent in 4 wanders using the same method and went 4/4 on 10s

Consign all your cards from an order (whether its a small order as part of a group or a personal) you will receive .50 off per card. It has to be the entire order, no exceptions.

I'm hoping so but wouldn't be surprised if PSA opens up a new tier and/or reduces prices of existing tiers, thus leading to increased submissions that subsequently slow down the clearing of the backlog.

They will open another level most likely, the same way they've opened all the others. They will allow an amount of cards they know they can handle and that won't slow down the rest to a crawl. Im guessing they have an internal goal of end of Q3 to have em all done. Might want it to align with the NJ facility opening so it may be end of Q4 but who knows.

A crawl was passed long ago, we are at or slower than a snail's pace now.

They are processing 1,000,000 cards per month. Its not that it's a snails pace its that the mountain took a steep jump upwards so it seems that way. The downhill will be a fun ride on the other side of it.

Remember we submitted 395,000 in 2020 and 150,000 in Jan/Feb of 2021. Thats INSANE. Nearly 50% of the cards in 17% of the time.

I guess I'm more pessimistic about the situation. They haven't been able to handle the current backlog (or are handling it at a significantly slow rate) and adding more submissions, whether it be new level or reduced prices, will only make the process slower.

2 years to grade cards (ones submitted in Jan 2020) is ridiculous. What I'm saying has no reflection on you though, jewcer, you and your group have been extremely professional. Just a little PSA rant, I suppose.
