Non-sale sale. Not moving the needle at all. I'll probably do a small amount of Beginnings, but that's it.

Default UD e-Pack store: A Marvel Sale is Live!

Got absolutely clobbered with Flair and Retro. Then I got this out of What If, which I guess is decent? (I don’t buy these sets much).

Also as a non-often epack user….holy HECK is that interface slow and unwieldy, even simple tasks like transferring things to COMC.

Tried a box of What If. I like this product for some odd reason. Hit my first top loader in ages, and of course it had to be such a boring character.

My guess is they will ship all the comic stuff off to one of the big online sellers if it doesn't sell out. They probably don't want the MCU stuff which is why it's been discounted 75%.

Thanks! I will definitely look and send something over!

They'll move all the big hits to the highest bidder and that buyer will make a repack out of it. Won't make sense to destroy it.

I’m still waiting for the Mickey stuff to surface that left ePack. And I guess Lion King too but it not because that’s likely the same place the Mickey stuff ended up.

I assume it will go to Dacard bc they got a boatload of the Mickey retail packs (no comic cut inserts) early COVID.

That's so cool - the Gauntlet Gems from Marvel Black Diamond, LOL -

Dyna, there's ways to mass combine digital base into physical base / mass transfer items to COMC (without having to click each transfer icon), it takes some getting used to, but I learned over time. I used to be much more active on ePack about 8 years ago, and I can remember adding cards to go to COMC one at a time, and someone telling me some of the shortcuts like choose the product from your products list - click "transfer all" - and just unclick a few that you DON'T want to transfer, and that way it's easier to transfer 247 cards in 4 click (one to transfer the 250, and 3 to remove the 3 you didn't want to transfer) than clicking on 247 individual cards!!!)

I took a pack of Beginnings as my token purchase for this half off sale, won't touch anything else until I see the next 75 percent off sale.

Hit a few great sketches via epacks over the years, but this 6-card puzzle may be the winner. Great job Jomar!

3 boxes of What If. Dang they're awful. At 75% off literally from 3 boxes may have got $10 worth of cards. Couldn't imagine those at $115

It is a horrible set. If you read the dedicated thread here people were basically calling it a turd from the getgo.

2 packs of Flair for payday and I did pretty well I think.

First pack I pulled Flairium #60 which is the last one I needed to complete the set and finish the achievements.

Pack 2 was a Thor Solar Flair SSP.

it's a $2-3 card. if I was "buying" I'd probably be sending out $5-6 of value, and I'm one of the more generous ones

It's worth whatever the other person values it at for their achievements,
which in some cases, can be a whole lot more than $3

I agree it's weird... but I do like the acetates, parallels, and black diamond cards.

Thanks- I was literally transferring each card by card, and after you add one to the transfer cart, it repopulates the collection list and starts back from the top etc. That will save a lot of time with a transfer all option, I was unaware of it.

Just in general though- every click on epack seems so slow. I’m sure this is old hat to everyone, but man the system it’s powered on is not ideal.

The What If is an oddball…it’s a Marvel Studios set but *feels* like a marvel art set since its graphics from an animated show. It’s got that pulp-y look to it. I know next to nothing about the show but I kinda like the set as a quirky fun set.

The 90 Marvel Universe insert design also gives it that throwback to an art based set. The parallels of that are pretty cool. As is the black diamond stuff. From a pure set standpoint it interests me more than some of the strict MCU sets, although it doesn’t have the auto caliber of those.

Short of recent on-sale items, I haven't really collected any MCU stuff since the original Iron Man trilogy, Thor, Cap, and original Avengers movie sets over 10 years ago, but I really enjoyed watching the "What If" series which (certainly, along with the sale) has prompted me into buying some of the cards.

So far, I've done the best in the Beginnings packs- just pulled dual autos.
Hawkeye/Flair/Moon Knight/MUS - breakeven so far. Took a bath on Wanda, Shang Chi, and Eternals. So far skipping What Ifs as I don't really like that set at all.
