You posted this earlier in the thread. Speaking of injuries, Gallo, Capela, Dunn, and Rondo all have been out with injuries, so not sure your thesis of the Hawks being young and healthier is going to prove correct.
Difference is, the Hawks' injury-risks are their role players, not their core stars. We know Kyrie will need rest at some point, and we know KD is likely going to need that as well. Now they just lost Dinwiddie, arguably their 3rd best player, though Levert is definitely the more versatile scoring threat. I think Dinwiddie is the better floor general and who I'd trust to run the offense when Kyrie has to sit.

Meanwhile the Hawks are now one of the deepest teams in the league. In a covid-impacted season, that's going to matter in the regular season. I had Nets at 6 and Hawks at 7, so I still think Nets will probably have better regular season record, but when people put them at 1/2 seed, I can't see that as anything but short-sighted / bias.

With Dinwiddie out, this slides Tyler Johnson up, who is no slouch. I think the Nets will be just fine.

Week 1 down, the new look Blazers have the worst defense in the league.

Another surprising stat

With cam johnson balling, maybe that Kobe tribute cam Johnson rc /24 might just be worth opening that pack. $500 plus dollars already In The bank and opening the pack was fun, as the hoot should be.

Completely agree. Along with being able to get a few buckets here and there off the bench, he plays solid D that's overlooked.

Thompson has been alright but the league moving away from traditional bigs is really fitting right into the Celtics hands. Plus Tatum is 6'-10" now so technically he could fill the role in an emergency scenario.

they lost spencer and that's already a huge blow. i dont expect kyrie to play all 72, same with durant. they probably wont finish top 4 and that's ok.

home court advantage is pretty much a NON FACTOR this year in the playoffs, they can sit at 7 and still upset any team. if KD and Kyrie are near 100%, they will be the best team to come out of the east. Finishing 1st or 2nd shouldn't be their goal. keeping KD/Irving healthy is.
Didn't you also say the Hawks would be better than them? KD looks amazing, just stop.

The Nets will be fine. They lost a stinker i have no doubt they will be a top 5 team in the east. Everyone loses some bad games unless they have an epic meltdown.

Holy hell.

Blowout gonna blowout. The hot takes are wild in here. Ha ha.

People are acting like this doesn't happen every season early on. Lulz.

Now the Nets are trash. Yikes.

2 different things.
I feel like you definitely did not say that. Either way it's really dumb.

Have you watched Kevin Durant? A healthy Kevin Durant means you're gonna have a terrific team.

im no longer going to participate discussing with you, because I've pretty much said my position on the nets/kd and you're just moving goal posts. it doesn't even take a few post up to see that.

if you're one of those guys who just wants to win an internet argument, then you can slap this badge to you chest. congrats lol.

just dont engage if you can't have a decent conversation with people. be better.

The Hawks won't be a better regular season, postseason or any kind of team than the Nets. It was a brutal take with whatever you're claiming you actually said. Point blank it was laughable.

https://twitter.com/wojespn/status/1...%3Ft%3D2034318

i already called this. So, yeah Nets are not going to have a better regular season record than the hawks.

You can put a wager or just shut up at this point

As someone just looking on, you're making a fool of yourself, again, even if you're right you're still acting like a baby. Shhhhhhh

No one needs to shut up, its an open forum. No insults are being thrown, you’re free to chime in or ignore. It’s a thread where everyone can discuss.

Imagine thinking a healthy Kevin Durant led team is going to be worse than the Hawks. Nope not me. Clown show is all you dude.

How is that surprising? Terry Stotts has never been known to preach any sort of defensive philosophy. And although he was a headcase and took plays off, Whiteside is still a big defensive force and he was cast off. Not a wonder Portland is at the bottom.
