And forgive the self indulgent plug here. But as an example this marino card of mine. 13 of. Jersey, cool. Now on ebay I can note that. On comc, no dice. That is a downer. It would be cool if it could be noted right? Otherwise it leads people to wonder why I'd want a crazy price for that card but at some point, I'll get it, as someone will randomly notice (maybe).

I do understand about the Free shipping and COMC. As you stated it is not fixed. I was talking more about the other sellers when they say free shipping they have figured in the shipping cost before pricing their cards. Example: If they want a dollar for that card they will price it at $1.50 or more with free shipping. If they are doing an auction they may be willing to take a chance and start it at .99

Well to start it could be only if the Jersey # matches the picture on the card. And users could submit correction requests. But that would still require extra work on COMC's end it seems.

Okay, as an example. Since Michael Jordan was mentioned, search on him. The click on the hall of fame checkbox. Now for a laugh look at all the sports listed! Baseball....haha. couldnt hit a curve ball. Soccer. Golf!!

Now....to my point. This is just a big database. There aren't always absolutes. Ignore the outliers, they just are what clouds the main.point which is that generally you want to be able to know if a card has positive elements like was in a short printed run or is a hof or is jersey numbered etc.

Comc did a great thing with the graded filter. Just ask hawk!!!! Before that existed it was lame to try to locate graded cards. Same here, they can just keep adding value.

I just personally say focus on the 98% gain and don't worry about the 2% outliers. Just let the crowdsourcing iron that all out.

Have had pretty good success with running sales lately! Especially this time if year, have done very well the last 3 months

Yeah my month has been slow, even with 90% of my cards being lowest priced on site with my current sale. I think there’s a bit of a lull before The National, which would stand to reason. But last year my July was hot, so what do I know?

I still think if they make a mistake when they process card they should either credit the fee back or at least make it half off. This is getting to be too common of an issue and they have no accountability.

Is their summer sale an annual thing or was it just last year? I just checked and last year it looks like it ran August 1 - August 6, so hopefully they'll do it again this year. Seems like the period right after The National would be a bit slower for them sales-wise so it would make sense to run it.
