Yeah if I recall, 201 to 204 were short (ie, the big 4 rookies)

This was my understanding of it, as well. It was just the 4 rookies tacked onto the end of the set that had their early batches cut short height-wise. In the beginning, PSA was tossing almost all of the 201-204 cards back for either Evid of Trim or Min Size and numerous turkeys were pooped about getting Topps to acknowledge the issue publicly so PSA would adapt.

Right around the time PSA adapted, Topps began cutting all the 201-204 cards properly and so now it's the big doody sandwich sitting in the middle of the picnic table that no one wants to talk about.

Is it #'d? I've kinda gone apeshit on the gold cup Vladdy. Up to 13 Meijers and 27 Target reds. Just added my first British /50.

I don't have a lot of graded Vladdy yet (several still outstanding at PSA), but just got these in. I thought the black would grade no lower than a 9 and I might get a lucky 10.

Jackpot on the gold 10!

It will be interesting to see what happens with the blacks of the non-US1 Update cards. We can foresee what the RD will do, but the HR Derby and the Soaring in the Six (what does that mean, anyway??) are kinda wild cards. If you can get them for cheap, probably worth the gamble.
