Claw Money vs Action Bronson is a disco vs bazookas, estrogen vs testosterone contrast. I would consider this Rickey to be "so bad that it's good" IF Rickey had looked like he was actually running in that picture.

AB will still sell more than 2k. He has a big following that like his stuff regardless of baseball card collectors.

He's doing the 'bad' photoshopping on purpose. No need to get upset about it.

Honestly I can see how this would be a funny one-off, but the joke is already old at 2 cards.

Robin Yount
Paul Molitor
Rollie Fingers
Gorman Thomas
Ben Oglivie

Also, i will buy four 10 packs if someone does a Gene Krug card. He is the only player from the 1980s or 1990s to have never appeared on a major or minor league card. #freeGeneKrug.

How about all of them on one card? Like one of those vintage rookie cards with 3 or 4 players on it

he is popular but still gets no love.
to put it in perspective, a 1951 topps warren spahn in a psa 8 will fetch you less $$$s than a 68 ryan/koosman in a psa 1.5

how many of you hating on vides have the munson in hand?

its one of my favorites from the 1st round and i am not a yankees or munson fan. that card is awesome.

That is the Rodney Dangerfield of comps. Great research.

I consider that Lambo Rickey a gift...to my wallet.

Thanks to AB for almost guaranteeing a one card week for me (Wizard of Efdot).

I think the fact that Spahn wasn't a strikeout pitcher plays into his anonymity.

I didn't like his P2020 set much at all but I kinda like what he's doing with P70. Didn't pick up the Munson but it looks better than just about any of his other cards.

So with the Mantle being released today, did Topps give artists the heads up they were getting the license to use his likeness? So there will definitely be a lot more? Or did they do like they did for Satchel and Skee?

That's 1951 Topps, which people don't really love, compared to one of the most iconic cards of all time. As another comparison, 1952 Topps Spahn, Bob Feller, and Duke Snider PSA 6 are about the same with similar pops.

He basically racked up a lot of wins by pitching until he was 44. He’s a definitely a HOF but he wasn’t a strike out pitcher and his era wasn’t incredible for a pitcher of his generation. Koufax and Randy Johnson were better than Spahn and Steve Carlton probably was too

these are $20 each, with some contributors putting in $2 worth of "effort"

such a shame
