Prices on everything other than 4 lots of Megas, which seem to be trending down, have been steadily rising the past 7 days. Today, it seems with less to show at retail it seems this is drying up there has been a little spike, looking at Stock X specifically.

Same can be said for eBay. I'm finding less items listed overall, and even less that I'd want to bid on. The final prices been going slightly higher each day it seems.

Need advice. Received two megas and two blasters from a seller I bought last week. Box exterior was heavily banged up and upon opening the two megas were dented. Recorded my whole package opening. Should I request seller for a partial refund? What makes sense/sounds reasonable here? Obviously bought these to hold and sell later but they are too damaged to sell so I will probably just end up ripping them. Never encountered this before so any advice appreciated. Thanks

Just completed a full base set and I’m only 8 cards short of a second set. Anybody want to help me get those last 8 commons? I have a lot of other base and inserts to trade, or I’d be willing to purchase if one person had all 8 of these:

Gloves when opening boxes of sealed wax? That's something you don't see every day.

You are well within your rights to return for full refund, but I wouldn't go partial fishing. Return it or keep it.

I've accepted this as part of buying secondary market. I'd say about 10-20% of the sellers who ship boxes to me I end up being forced to rip because they just would not be sellable without a discount given box damage. I even had one seller write in ink for some reason on the plastic wrap which I'd assume equally makes those boxes unsellable.

However, even as badly damaged as your boxes are, the packs inside seem like they'll be fine. Just open them, generally with a few good pulls and grading you're not going to end up behind anyway. On mosaic, I actually lucked out on some pulls and did much better ripping and selling than I would've holding sealed. Sometimes it works the other way too and that's unfortunate but there is still fun in it. In any case, not worth the headache of dealing with dumb shippers. That's just my opinion though

Appreciate the advice. That makes sense. I’ve messaged the seller to let him know the situation and at the very least let him know to improve packaging on future sells.

Bummer man! I got a damaged box through a StockX order once... but was really looking for an excuse to rip anyway.

Ended up getting a pristine Morant Debut Genesis.... so overall I was happy!

Man that's pretty bad, it looks like they didn't bother to put any packing materials inside the box either. Probably a flipper as well...

However, I think your packs will be okay! The damage is in the top corner and the Target Megaboxes have cardboard inside that hold the packs towards the center of the box. It's the Walmart Megas that are literally loose packs that would be more concerning.

Good luck if you decide to end up ripping!

Have 2 sealed cases of the Pulsar sets. With reports of them bricking up and it seems the market plateauing (at this moment) at $300 or so, should I just rip these, send in what is gradable and move on and try to piece these out? Or did I miss my moment haha.

I still have 13 sealed bought straight from Target with some coupons applied, only opened 2 and pulled a gold Lebron which stopped me from opening anymore, but Im wondering what’s gunna happen with these.
