Ryu first game in ST is exactly how I thought it would go. He should be our 5th starter. He doesn’t have it any longer. Last year and I feel this year will be a tough year for him again

I’d love to get him and would be ok to see Groshans, Biggio, etc go but I think they’ll want Orelvis and I don’t see us giving him up.

I feel we are so stacked that we will win without him but man, adding JRam would make us even scarier to face.

No doubt the team is stacked already. But I’m betting the front office is looking at what the Dodgers and Braves have done to beef up their bullpens, and are thinking they need as many prime bats as they can get to battle in the late innings of the World Series. Between his XBH and SB abilities, who in baseball is better at getting into scoring position than J-Ram? With him on second, is Dave Roberts going to pitch around Vlad to get to Teoscar and Bichette?

I understand the reservations about trading Orelvis, but tooling up for a World Series run would be worth the sacrifice. And when your farm system has recently graduated talents like Vlad, Bo, and Manoah, trading an Orelvis is a little more palatable.

I would be all for trading Orelvis to get J-Ram

Ramirez is a proven star and perennial MVP candidate, while Martinez hasn't played past A+. I'll take the sure thing 7 days a week and twice on Sundays

You bet.

Trading a highly rated prospect for arguably one of the top 3 players in MLB the last 5 years, with 2 years of control, is a move any team that wants to contend now would have to make.

I would doubt that. Cleveland can’t stop churning out pitchers, but they’re one of the worst organizations at developing bats.

Source confirms #BlueJays have traded Reese McGuire to the Chicago White Sox for Zack Collins.

I like this. Kirk and Jansen will be the two catchers with Moreno waiting in the wings.

Collins have a minor league option left so he can be sent to AAA if need be. McGuire doesn’t have any minor league options left
