I am waiting on a 2017 Donruss Dominators Gold On Card /10. (submitted in 7/19)

I think they are going by redemption submission dates, that may be why they are skipping around.

I haven't seen any of these show up at all.

They did do autos for the mojo /25, so autos are still a possibility. It’s my understanding that there were less than 35 blue shimmer redemptions made.

Yeah, I believe so as well. Im hoping since they’re ssp we will get an auto instead of a pack.

I pulled a Veteran Ticket auto from a box of 2018-19 Contenders Optic about a year ago, and exactly a week before Kobe's passing. I received my Kobe pack yesterday, for any of you that are waiting on the same auto.

Also wondering this; however, I suppose they're probably going through outstanding redemptions on a case by case basis. Otherwise, like you said, seems like they could just ship out the packs to those of us getting them and be done with it.

The Panini release says:

The final card comes from a new Kobe Career Highlights set only available here. The checklist has 48 cards, each looking at one of Bryant’s many accomplishments. Done on chrome stock similar to Prizm. Base Purple versions have 24 copies each. Additional parallels include:

Purple and Gold – /20
Gold Snakeskin – /10
Gold – /8
Black – 1/1

So if you are indeed guaranteed one Kobe card in every pack, it seems that there are 3,024 packs made.

Looks like 3000-3200 packs.

48 kobe cards

numbered to 24/20/10/8/1 = 63 parallels per card

3024 kobe cards that fall 1 per pack. Cardboard connection claims "at least 50 cards" which would be 3150.

For the base mosaic set you have 300 cards
parallels numbered to: 24/20/8/1 = 53 copies per card

53x300= 15,900. 5 per pack would be 3180 packs.

I did. The pack concept is better than nothing, just not sure what to do with it. Would have preferred an auto obviously, but I suspect there aren’t many of those going to be available. Packs are SSP with massive potential hits. Couldn’t ask for a better rookie class to have potential out of. Even considering grading the pack to preserve long term...

Obviously would love to rip it open too...

Agreed a $2,000 pack is better than nothing but still upset with no auto
