2019 Bowman Mega-Let the Hunt Begin!!

So I opened a single box this AM, pull my first 1/1....kolby Allard ROY favs LOL....if I sold the box it would’ve been the Wander 1/1

I can never find Target products on their website or through google. I've gone to Target.com and in the search box typed in "Bowman Mega Box" or "2019 Bowman Mega Box" or even just "Bowman" and the Mega boxes don't appear. I search the product through the categories tabs, ie. Toys/Games and Puzzles/Collectible Cards. Nothing. All they show is 2019 Bowman blasters, Gypsy Queen, Heritage, Donruss, etc. I google "2019 Bowman Mega Box Target". Nothing except a link to the sold out 2017 Bowman mega boxes on Target's site.

How do you guys track this down on Target's website? Same thing happened with Topps Chrome Update. I just had to leave the link open on my phone and computer for weeks after finding it on here when one of you guys posted it.

It is posted when there is stock. I have posted the link multiple times in this thread.

Most of the time, in order for the search engine to work the item has to be live, in stock, for sale, etc. There is not a "pre" link that says coming soon, etc. What happened yesterday is that the boxes were stocked at 3am ET, and the veterans all knew it was coming at 3am because that's when Target's website reloads. At 3:01am if you had typed in "2019 Bowman Mega Box" the link would have popped right up. Now that it is sold out, the link is no longer visible in searches. We just happen to have a few BO members who shared the link so we know where the landing page is when they do get re-loaded.

In sum, if you can't find it by searching Target.com, it's because the product isn't in stock.

Someone posted the link earlier, but good luck searching for it on their website! Ran into same problem. Its nnoying, not to mention btw that it says "sold out" already. Who knows when they'll restock. I havnt had any luck either man. But anyways here's the link

They don’t appear when they are sold out / unavailable. Nothing popped up when I searched bowman in the search box but it did pop up when it was available at midnight.

If someone comes into the store and buys them then it is fair game. I have a problem with Excel reps hoarding them before they hit store shelves. I don’t support a secondary market because it encourages this behavior but to each it’s own. But if people want to buy more than two and have the resources to do so then they should be able to.

Well the person at this Target ripped open all the Excel boxes to find them,, which the store said is not allowed, said they aren't even supposed to open them, only Excel rep since it wasn't a target item. She said this guy does it all the time, makes a mess, is rude and a pain to them. I like the 2 limit to give everyone a chance instead of these people who do nothing but stalk Target and buy it all up just to sell, but realize those people will just bring their wives, moms, aunts and neighbors to still buy it all up.

I agree 100%. You're right, they will just bring other folks with them but at least make it difficult for them. Would love to at least get a few boxes without having to drive around town all day hoping to get lucky.

This is incorrect according to the Excell rep in my area. I have asked managers at the Target nearest me to open boxes in the past, and told me they were not supposed to, only the vendor could. I told the Excell rep when I saw him a few weeks ago, and he says: "absolutely not. We want stuff on the shelves as soon as possible to move the most product."

I know thank you. That's what I've got up on my phone and computer now. I was just trying to figure out how people find the product when it actually goes live.

Just caught a guy weighing packs. Called him out & the entire store started clapping. The Excel rep came out of the back with 4 cases of Megas & gave them to me for free as a thank you. Opened 1 box in the vehicle & hit 5 autos from some dude named Mike Trout... do we think he'll be any good? Might try trading them for a Heritage blaster if anybody is interested.

OK, I had asked an associate yesterday if there were any excel boxes in the back, she asked a manager who said it doesn't matter if there are, they aren't supposed to open them even if there were.

Made my rounds in Las Vegas yesterday and found NONE available. Came home and seen a seller from Vegas with about 9 Mojo Chrome Autos for sale on eBay. If the odds are 1 in 8 boxes that's like 72 boxes that never hit the sales floor.

That's pretty unfortunate if the Excell rep from Vegas doesn't even let these hit the sales floor. This is Vegas tho, and greed pretty much runs this city. LOL.

Did you check the Targets in Henderson? Because I checked the ones South Maryland Parkway, Horizon Ridge, and Lake Mead.

Yup, I believe the majority of the ones listed on eBay from Vegas came from the one on Stephanie. That's one of the busiest Targets and stays open until 11pm whereas most of the others only stay open til 10. When I go in the Stephanie location I always get hella shady vibes when it comes to collectibles like trading cards and even funko pops.

Last night i just happened to be up late and randomly just decided to check the website and they were available. It was around 12:10am pac time. By 12:15 they were sold out. I had 20 in my cart about to check out and it only allowed me to buy 5 because they were about to sell out. Luckily i did a prior order a minute before and grabbed 2 cases! But i was just super lucky to be up at the time or i would have been SOL.

It seems like we are headed towards a purchase limit for limited release items like the bourbon world has gone. Seems like the last few Target only releases have been immensely popular and I’m sure Target/Excel/Topps are all aware of it. The increase in price is just the first step toward all parties getting their share.
