Yep. You should know by now. It's literally all or nothing. It doesn't even matter who's pitching. These games are so damn frustrating and boring.

I don't think it's choking. You see this a lot of times where a rookie making his debut will come up and have an outstanding game. Happened against the Rangers last week.

These teams don't have film on these brand new guys that are making their debut. So that makes it harder to face him when you've never seen him and have no film on him.

I agree to an extent, but this guy is nothing special and has no plus pitches. He shouldn’t have 6 no hit innings

I feel like he puts out a quality start. I’d like to see the Cubs put up a crooked number early so it doesn’t matter as much, but I like him to follow up Hendricks with another deep quality start.

Q and Darvish have got to be better, it’s as simple as that. Chatwood is a loose cannon.

I think a big issue this year is we can’t pull off close games. I swear we lose most gamed by 1-2 runs and there’s no rally, ever. Gotta get better, they’ve been consistently average this year, haven’t gone on any real winning tears. I don’t even particularly care for winning the division as long a we make the postseason. But we have to get better. Milwaukee is starting to run away with it.

Other than Bryant, Rizzo (usually..kinda struggling this year), Almora and a healthy Zobrist... the Cubs do not have another solid hitter on this team. It's all HR or nothing guys for the most part... Baez, Schwarber, Russell, Heyward, Happ etc.

Honestly, I get that you lose control of Russell who is cheap with multiple years but this gives us a shot this year. Russell, Contreras, Heyward, Baez, basically anybody outside of Bryzzo are incredibly inconsistent. There’s no spark, nobody looks like they’re having fun. It just sucks, I happened to catch the Brewers rally for for runs to tie and win the game. They just have fire and are doing the small things to wins, small ball wins games. Cubs aren’t doing that. Struggling in critical situations and trying to destroy the ball every time. *which the Cubs aren’t hitting bombs much at all so we should try playing small ball

End rant. Gotta get something going
