No one is a lock with 98 wins... first let's see him get to 200.

These responses are ridiculous. If he had every year exactly the same except his 2 best years were the last 2 years instead of when they were, you'd all be saying future HOF or yes, or HOF Lock.

He needs to start producing nasty numbers again, only then I think that he could creep in. It would be hard to with what other pitchers are dominating right now.

2 Cy Youngs
2 No hitters
3 World Series Championships

I would still say no. Same goes for Kershaw. He needs at least 3 more years befor I call him a lock for the hall

Giants fans, a pitcher can have all the accolades in the world, but with an ERA of 3.58, not even 250+ wins (over double what Timmy has now) will do it.

Mussina comes to mind...

I'm going to assume the OP is a woman and tell her what she wants to hear. Yes, he is a lock! No doubt about it! Also, I enjoy your mother's visits and those jeans don't make your butt look fat.

Wins are a meaningless stat. Kershaw is a lock for me. Anytime you have a 5 year stretch as the best player at you're position you should be in the HOF.

First of all, Mussina is going in to the Hall. Second of all, if Big Time Timmy Jim can get to 250 wins and a 3.58 ERA in this era, he will sail in to the Hall. Someone write this down in case he does it and remind everyone for me in 20 years in case I'm right.
