It's hilarious when folks who make less than $50k a year and/or still live in their parent's basements give estimates of what monster cards should sell for.

Everyone has a right to their opinion, but people need to back up their estimates with hard evidence of what they actually paid for one - those are the people I would believe.
LOL true statement

LOL True story and it's pretty sad too - I probably have more spare change in my pocket right now than chitownbears22 has in his bank account and he's throwing around 50K estimates like he's Scrooge McDuck jumpin in his vault of gold coins LOL...

Sold a raw version /99 after he announced he was going home for $26k.

$40kish would be my guess for the 9.5 right now.

BGS 9.5 is not that rare for this card...when 20% of the print run is graded as a BGS 9.5, it's not that big a deal to get it encapsulated. I know many collectors that would rather just own this card raw and place it in a very nice screwdown.

Hey Buddy quit trolling, slow your roll.

Two totally different cards, best rookie card of one of the best players in the world. Not some glorified reprint that is over hyped by the people that own it.

I contacted a seller through eBay 3-4 days after LeBron announced he was going back to CLE. He was looking for $25k.

I love when people brag about their money on message boards. On the other hand the Scrooge mcduck reference was classic

CLOSE THREAD/

Agree 1001% that he the baby daddy...... Or, that I simply agree with him. Hype and shilling will definitely make this card burn up hot. But as far as a real sale value? At this point..... Who knows! Wish there was a real way to tell, buy the way people are running around these days trying to get "rich".... There's just no way to know. And that's the truth.

The seller is looking for close to the Buy-It-Now, with all offers declined as of now. He's not looking for market value and is, therefore, not really interested in selling. Doubt he sells to anyone. That card will be pulled shortly.

How do you know? Are you a friend of the seller?

How do you know if they're not 99 cent offers??

Since the BIN is high... Does this mean the card is worth that?

I agree. I made what I felt to be a very fair offer... and didn't even get a counteroffer but rather:

"Hi thanks for the offer but this is not close to what I've already been offered or to what I would need to part with it. Thanks"

The more I look at the card, the more it doesn't seem that special. Anybody else think it looks like a Pokemon card, or Yu-Gi-Oh? More Yu-Gi-Oh than Pokemon... Smh

Anyway, but yeah, 200k it is RAW...... 9.5? 2 Mil it's that special a card that it multiplies a lot!!!!!!

EDIT: if he didn't have a BAZILLION other rookie cards, then maybe I could understand anywhere near the price. But not even then. 20-30 years from now and his ONLY RC? Sure. Anyway... To each their own(shill).

That was always the Buy-It-Now price from the beginning. As was stated before, the seller is not accepting offers that have been around recent market prices. He's asking for the price of loaded sports car instead.

You can buy 5 cases of 2003/04 Exquisite with the money that guy is asking.

Even with the Jordans being redemptions, you will hit some pretty big cards in 15 boxes. Maybe even a few Lebrons.
