Guys thanks for the support in the posts. My collection is just that (a collection) and there is no prospecting going on. The thrill of tracking down the tough cards in high grades is what I enjoy. I hope the posts have provided that perspective to most.

There is a black border /5 in Topps mini, the #270 card. I think there is still a good amount of that product not ripped yet.

You are right, I do still need that card. I don't believe I have seen one yet either. No shortage of card to chase.

Very cool collection! I am doing a similar rainbow with the 2013 Topps Freddie Freeman card(Opening Day, Topps, Chrome, Mini, parallels).

Meant to post a link to the Machado Master set on PSA to show progress. Not really chasing the post 2013 cards at this time, still too many pre-2014 to add.

Impressive! I finally got the '71 Mini auto myself, so I don't have to ask you again! You don't want me to grade mine!!! Just kidding, it's probably a 7 too.

Thanks, and yes, this is his year. Injuries are the only thing that will keep him from being a superstar. I also want to say how impressed I am with the Heritage 9 if I haven't already. That is a TOUGH grade.

Default Manny Machado

Very impressive Manny collection mcholke. I'm not sure you can call it "dabbling" now though.

So, how does Machado stack up to you vs. Perez?

Thanks so much for sharing your collection and passion.

Perez will always be the number 1 collection. However, I was running out of things to chase and it has been fun to have another player to collect. The Perez collection includes anything and everything and not just cards. Frankly it takes up a ton of space and that set the parameters on Machado to just cards. Considering the number of rookie and pre-rookie cards that was plenty to have to go after and not continue to chase what one day will be in the thousands of cards for Machado.
