I then went to cancel my bid, but the rules say you can't cancel a bid within 12 hours of the end of an auction. So, out of courtesy, I then emailed the seller stating that I changed my mind but ebay wouldn't let me cancel. I also said that if I won the auction, I recommended approaching the next highest bidder with a 2nd Chance Offer.

As for taking this private matter and making it public while dragging my name through the mud, I'll let my 967 100% positive feedbacks on ebay and perfect iTrader feedback speak for themselves.
So you bid on the card without any intention of actually buying it? Why bid on the card if you did not want to purchase it? Why try to cancel your bid? Screw your feedback on Ebay and here. You intentionally are trying to drive up the prices on your J. Fernandez cards.

He had totally no intention of buying the card whatsoever, I'm wondering if a call to ebay would do anything for his account? What do you guys think?

So you only bid on it with the intent of driving up the price?

Can you point out where I ever said that?

As I told the seller, I'm taking care of things and he'll be made whole. Why everyone else feels they need to chime in without all of the facts is beyond me

Very impressive Jose Fernandez stash; now THAT is how you prospect. Stick with your conviction and continue buying as prices rise. I'm just surprised that you were able to amass that many; supply for many decent prospect investments have been drying up incredibly quickly nowadays.

This is Blowout; it happens all the time. The less one is able to publicize their actions on here, positive or negative, the better. Nonetheless, it's bound to happen eventually.

Truly amazing collection. It's a damn shame that this business of cancelled bids has to dampen the fun of admiring it.

To either one of you wanting to sell an orange Jofer auto I'd consider buying one, if I can get an un-shilled price on it.

Chris the original bidder made good on the purchase and paid the full price of $840 sale on it. He had a change of heart and made good on his purchase. His name is cleared and wanted to let you guys know.
Thanks!

I am posting a comment only because I want to find this in the future. This is an amazing piece of collecting! I will reserve all comments about him as a prospect.
