I think the top row will be just some of my favorites that don't make the team (i.e., Ripken, etc.). Also it will be good to have space just in case a Trout or Harper eventually is able to take a spot in the OF. I already had an Ian Kinsler and Josh Hamilton that I had signed in person that I put in the case right now.

Currently in the case: Ted Williams (plus 19 other HOF members including Musial, Ryan, Gibson and others), Barry Bonds 2002 All Star Game Ball, Alex Rodriguez, Ian Kinsler, and Josh Hamilton.

Currently looking to trade for: Pedro Martinez, Pudge Rodriguez, Albert Pujols, Joe Morgan, Chipper Jones, Willie Mays, and Mickey Mantle.

Yeah I have a 2 year old boy and a baby girl due in October.

The case is expensive but very impressive and totally worth it plus the shipping crate is hardcore!

Just an update on the project as I am only 1 ball away (Aaron) from completing Phase 1 of the project. I am also starting to write the coffee table book now and decided to go with a two team approach in the case. The main team A will be in the field and team B will be up top and lined up based on batting order. So I have gone back and forth 100 times and I know everyone's team will be different but here is mine (note: I am fully aware that certain members on the list used steriods. If that bothers you please move on and don't comment I am starting the book with a quote from Bob Creamer on the subject and detail the history of cheating in baseball).

Team A:
C-Bench ( I'm shocked as well as Pudge had it until the very last second)
1B-Musial
2B-Morgan
3B-ARod
SS-Ripken
OF-Williams,Mays,Mantle
SP-Pedro

Team B
C-Pudge Rodriguez
1B-Frank Thomas
2B-Alomar
3B-Chipper
SS-Ozzie
OF-Bonds, Griffey, Aaron
SP-Gibson

Thanks for looking!

You should do Nat'l League and American League, because I can't see leaving 2 of these guys out: Williams, Mays, Aaron, Mantle, Dimaggio

When in reality you'll need a Mike Piazza ball

In addition Seaver over Koufax. People forget Koufaxs dominance was over a 5 year period and if that's all it takes than Pedro Martinez from 97-01 holds up with Koufax.

I also think we automatically put Koufax at #1 because his auto card prices are more than most other pitchers

All of those made the list except DiMaggio as the Mantle ball refused to play with Joe D again.

I think Pedro is the greatest ever based on what he did during the offensive era that he did it in.
