Looks like they found a new way to make sure product is technically in stock for a long time!

I'm in the queue for a box, would be a personal birthday present if I can nab one. If not, I'll find some other way to spend the money.

Finally ended up with two. Tons of errors over and over again. Checking out with shop finally worked.

3 times now down to under 1 minute and checkout time bumped up again. I'd bet the house when it eventually hits the checkout page it will say sold out, reduced box amount, or too many checkout attempts.

Topps' newest engagement strategy, keep resetting the wait timer so you stay on their webpage hoping and wishing for eternity.

You guys can watch blez and Layton open 25 cases on release day

And if you want to buy a box you can buy a box from blowout for 450 dollars on release

What's hilarious is if you look at most EQL and the small amount of winners I'd bet there are at a bare minimum a handful of dealers that are EACH getting more of those products than is being allocated to the entire general public via EQL. For ones where you can't get a sealed case with box amounts there are dozens EACH getting more sealed cases than the entire general public can get sealed cases.

Finally kicked me out after 56 minutes. What a thrill ride. Who needs to actually open anything when you can have that? But in all seriousness though, how is this not figured out by now? Ordering online is nothing new nor are high demand products. It shouldn’t be possible to spend almost an hour trying to actively order something with the variety of errors everybody else already spoke about.

It was figured out. The first handful of Shopify releases were easy to checkout. They were all available right away and with no errors. What's happening now they are doing by design. That's why it's constantly adding new error messages.

They've (Topps) figured it out. It's a dopamine hit to just get the purchase to go through! It's all downhill after that w/ your missing hits etc.

It’s crazy to think Topps has had the exclusive Marvel license for over a year now and the FOMO fever has not let up yet.

Yes, it is by design to create false sense of scarcity and artificial FOMO so they won't have a problem selling whatever large part of the print run they are holding back above MSRP.

Fanatics is just making products with 2-5 numbered cards

And charging 500-1000 per box

Make box nice. check

Put hits in magnetic holders. check

i can't believe that video I just watched was for a $500 box of cards. Pretty good rip with the fantastic sketch, but even then not $500 good. I can't imagine how little value the average box ends up delivering.

Very sad if true, but yeah unfortunately probably more likely than, “just can’t figure it out.”

Yeah of the releases this week, the Deadpool was a much better option.
