You know. Just sell all 22000 boxes of this on there site and then after 24-48 hours then what’s left let breakers have or blowout or Dave adams

But they won’t. Every product has to be sent to breakers and to Dave Adams and blowout with massive mark ups

When you are allowed to have a monopoly these are the things you can do

Honestly the value on paper looking at the checklist looks decent. But this also means that they have 22,170 on-card autos which yeahhhhh. For every Ford,Hamill,Luna,Knightley,Law they’ll be 100 Bistins,Ketsus,and Aaylas………..

You do realize the markup is there because demand outpaces supply, right? If they kept it at MSRP, scalpers would buy it all up and mark it up to the same or higher price. Then we'd be bitching about scalpers instead...

This product will be brutal for 350 or 500 or what ever you can get it

9 out of 10 boxes will be 15-20 percent roi

Just like very marvel and Star Wars product the last year

Just another product where the only way to really win is get it at MSRP and sell it to someone at what will be the marked up price.

Would be hours to sell it all

Would give everyone a chance

Only way to actually stop reselling for profit on release is Dutch auction and even then it's not perfect. But topps doesn't care about resellers making money on the products..they celebrate it.

It's all hype and fomo with topps now. That is the entire business model.

I suspect that the hobby is just continuing on being specialized like it always has been. I'm sure there will be a retail product out for Mando & Grogu, chrome retail, maybe another flagship that also goes retail for 2026?

The only thing different here is "don't let the customer get bored" or maybe "be unpredictable in format". Seems to be working for them as I plan to try to get two boxes of this ...

You need to realize that Blowout and Dave and Adams have to purchase large quantities of cases across multiple products to get the deals they get from Topps (and other manufacturers). Many of these products sit in their inventory and never get sold at MSRP. So it makes sense that individual buyers like us would pay a premium price. I wish it was a level playing field, but this is just how it currently works.

The odds that Topps provided doesn't seem to match this. How would we get 2 autographs or sketches and 1 on card auto if the odds show one sketch every three packs and autos one every 2 packs?

I think it was closer to 5 milliseconds for the cases unless Topps didn't even make them available.
