That’s the box count if there were only hobby boxes. Supers are seeded into blasters and megas as well. Looking at the triple auto super odds there are 1 in each product and that comes out to about 20k hobby boxes

There are only 3 on the checklist and each sku has odds so I assume each have one. Wouldn’t be surprised if Topps messed up the odds sheet tho lol

Some cool names on the list, too. I wouldn't mind picking up a Brian Doyle-Murray.

Will this set do well at $249.99 per hobby box?

I'm familiar with Spongebob but have never watched it myself. Never cared for it in the past and still don't today, but if there's an opportunity, I'm always open ears.

Not surprised at the price. Wish it was cheaper per usual, but I'll enter for a single box since Spongebob was a big part of my childhood. At $250, most boxes will be big losers given the lengthy checklist.

This was my first time trying to buy anything from Topps.. I had some value boxes in my cart and it sold out even before I got to pay and now they're gone from my cart.. I guess I'm ending up with nothing

Also I'm having a hard time making out the odds.. is it odd per pack? Like 1:109? Also what's the difference between the 2 value boxes in the odds list because I only saw one on the website..

I feel like I should have taken a course to prepare for this because I had no idea it was going to be like this.. lol

We will not know for certain until the results are in but I think we see boxes pre-selling on the secondary at around $350ish today

Hate how big the checklist is and 12 pack chrome boxes are not for me but i still think this will do quite well at least initially

They have sapphire on the odds checklist so there's that as well.

I guess it depends on how many hobby boxes they produced for this set.

But, using Grave252 as example, it's a little concerning when someone who collects/buys/sells/trades cards (assumptions being made, of course) and was heavily impacted by Spongebob during childhood, is only interested in purchasing 1 hobby box at $249.99.

At the same time, I have to remind myself that the hobby isn't always logical and group breakers set the floor price. However they price spots out essentially determines wax prices. Can they easily sell spots at $2 per (200-base checklist => $400 per hobby box), if not, more?

$250 seems steep to me but I still think it sells out. I guess we will see soon how many Blowout regulars won boxes/cases.

Aside from pure manipulation, there’s no way these go up from $250 with 80k boxes, right? I’m passing,

Is there a crash course on Topps releases? I'm super unfamiliar with their hits and I'm having a hard time making out the odds list. I'm just now learning that a superfractor is 1/1 - are all refractors numbered? Also what's the difference between a refractor and a sapphire??

It looks like some of the best cards aren't even available in the value boxes so maybe it's better those sold out in my cart and I didn't end up getting any lol
