I had to search for the 2024 Series 1 thread.

This exact same thing happened. An initial partial list came out and people freaked out because the black parallel wasn't on there.

Clear is mentioned, and has been Hobby-only.

It's the XX/75 year for Black, and I have full confidence I'll be adding them to my binders and PSA submissions with this release.

And the higher numbered, retail parallels (/799 and /999) will definitely be back. They just haven’t been announced yet either. They’re not going to eliminate retail parallels

I'm getting 2019 Topps vibes here (which I wasn't super thrilled with). I wish they went back to the full bleed like they had between 2016-2018 (and then again in 2020).

Not a huge fan at this point - but I wasn't when I first saw 2024 and I really like those now. Same with 2008. Maybe these will grow on me.

Looks like the box image released on Monday was a preview of the card design.

that's a good point, '51 was not Topps so should not be counted.

I'm surprised that they didn't cancel flagship in favor of a product that costs $10,000 per pack.

The design is kinda "meh" for me.....don't love it, don't hate it....a solid "B", but nothing spectacular.

Not good enough for me to want to collect it, though.....I'll be saving my budget for Heritage and Platinum Anniversary.

I really like it. I have enjoyed a few of the exceptions but I generally think flagship should always feature a white border for the base cards.

Black /74 replaced with Black Rainbow Foil /10 ?

Not a fan of all the different color Rainbow Foils. I guess similar to the red and blue foil from Opening Day? Wood could be interesting but fear they will look more like the Heavy Lumber Inserts.

I do like that only 5 of the 20 Parralels are numbered higher than 99. Makes it feel more special IMO
