3. Horizontal cards
4. Multi-player cards
5. Cards before the year the players MLb debut (bowman 1sts, ‘60 Yaz, ‘93 Jeter, 02 Votto, etc)

I'm right there with you on numbers 1 and 4.

I'm in agreement on this one. I don't want to see a 2022 Babe Ruth card or 2024 Mickey Mantle card unless it's an insert tribute set.

Not a specific card, but 50 parallels of 1 card.

Also Topps Chrome knock off products. TC Black, Cosmic, Gilded, Sapphire, Sonic, Ginter, Platinum, Logofractor. And I'm sure they will continue to add over the years.

No autographs on cards for me. I have been collecting Freddie Freeman since 2012. I was excited to find this jersey #'d card in 2021....but ended up hating the picture they used for it so much that I sold it less than a year later. No regerts!

Agree on 1, 4, and 5. #2 can look really cool if not overdone. Some are just gaudy. #3 my OCD agrees with you, but there are some cool designs. If the whole set is horizontal like 1955 Topps, I am all for it. The random horizontal cards drive me crazy, though.

I can't stand modern Bowman,Bowman Chrome,Bowman Draft and Bowman Platinum. To me they're just glorified minor league cards.

I'd say Bowman's Best too,but I do like the card design every year so they get a pass.

So what you're saying is you don't like the Retrofractors in Bowman?

I don't like any Chrome or Acetate Cards; personally they're not cards if they're not "paper"

Yeah I will say that if I was doing a whole set and it was horizontal, I’d be fine with it. But I don’t do sets so I choose to not collect horizontals

This problem flows both ways in that mixing positional GOATs, Inner Circle HoFers, and crash-burn Rookies all together frequently gets comical these days. There is an easy solution - throw the Wander card in the trash and skip bothering to complete insert checklists.

Not specifically a card but I find the obsession with the HOF to be silly

Bowman 1st of unproven talent. They only become relevant when the player establishes themselves. I realize that's a big chunk of the hobby.

I know this is the baseball section - but prizm. just so ugly to me.

I also don't care for prospect cards. The photoshopped uniforms are a turnoff.

Yall already did a great job of naming pretty much everything I hate

- Topps Cosmic
- X-Fractors
- cornball Ben Baller getting his own set for no reason
- retired players being in current sets

I’m not big on Bowman 1st cards either. I’ll wait on them to set foot on a MLB field first

And nobody likes sticker autos but I absolutely hate them. I only have 1 in my entire collection

1st Bowman autographs

I can understand years ago when 1st Bowman autos where the only autograph players had but now most players have autos in the next years flagship Bowman and every Bowman product after

Just seems silly to me to pay such a premium to have that “first” when a guy has multiple autos in 5 or 6 bowman products a year

Also I’m not sure anybody likes them but I absolutely despise leaf baseball and really any sport they do, they keep pumping out worthless 1/1’s after 1/1’s and they just gunk up eBay search results

I love Heritage but I hate all the dumb variations. Color swap, action image, flip stock, chrome, refractors, error, blah blah blah......

Rip cards are dumb. Let’s destroy a serial numbered regular card and likely get an unnumbered EXT mini of a rookie who might already be out of the league.

Any card that is A color

Parallel does not equal color

For some reason all modern day parallels are colors

I’m unsure if this is due to modern day cultural change phenomenon but I’m sick and tired of rainbows being shoved everywhere INCLUDING on my cardboard.

Make parallels great again and stop making them colors! We want textures, patterns, die cuts, print technology. Not blue gold red white green yellow orange purple pink black navy blah blah. BORING! Basic and trashy!

They piss me off so much I get mad at other people for buying them or buying products they're in.
