Again, if only half (350) have pads, cut in half.
Wouldn't you divide by 3 since you get 3 parallels a box?

Not for 1:1 odds vs checklist size.

But some guys say only half the checklist has a pad and the other half are superfractors, which I remember being true for 2020.. i think

I think this is correct since Pad and Super have different odds. They would be equal if they were both 700.

1 orange vet pitcher /25
1 black checklist /10

Also, the parallels are same thickness as the base cards, but I think the base cards are thicker than 2023… they don’t curve out of the pack.
Was the pricing the same? I logged on minutes after receiving the email and they were all sold out...

Math using the sapphire selections Superfractor autos shows around 15-16k boxes I believe.

Yeah, with Super odds for 350 of the base being different than Pad odds for the other 350 base (for god knows what reason), there's no exact science then for how many were made.

But in theory, IF all 700 had Pads, 36k-ish would have been the number.

So assuming, again, 350 and 350 have different 1/1 parallels, it puts the box number between 13737.5 and 18287.5

Previous years were about 25-30K. I think Topps has been trying to keep the PR down on the Sapphire products. But not sure about TC Basketball. I think that one is way up.

If you go with the pad auto odds 1:2854 * 48 = 136992 then divide by 8 packs a bo x you get 17k boxes. Would actually be a little lower taking into account the sapphire selection autos. no?

Afraid if I enter I will get it and reduce my EQL chances for another/better product in the future like TCU Sapphire.

Right. It's such a stupid and corrupt system.

Yeah, really odd they did this and I'm not sure I understand it.

There are 300 base cards in the TC proper checklist that already have superfractors. So Topps did not want to have duplicate images (even though a different number) for the superfractors so those have the pad variation. The other 400 cards/subjects are not in the TC proper checklist and get the superfractor treatment. There was a product that did have duplicate superfractor images and that was very confusing.

Can anyone share the box pricing for Montgomery Club boxes? Was it the same as the EQL?

Hahaha!

Felt the same way, but I've never hit on an EQL (not just cards but shoes too) so I just enter them all (for products I want to win).

I did wonder if I should only enter the sealed case raffle to up my chances of that but entered the loose box too (because I'm expecting a L).

Anyway, entered the EQL for 23 boxes lol.

I opened my lottery ticket and got lucky with an Orange Sapphire Selection of Ohtani. 6 color in total because of the auto & insert color, with the other nice color being a black Scherzer. Meadows & Lawlar were best rookie base cards, with no non-rookie base of note

First, nice freaking (and timely) hit!!

Second, there's so much low-numbered color coming out of these boxes.

Third, a number of boxes are overdelivering (more than 1 auto and/or 4 parallels).

Can anyone remind me what rips were like from the last 2 years?
