I looked at his numbers today - not bad for a 20 year old / not bad at all

Whoops, you are correct. 20/20 at the age of 20.

Won't be for too much longer. Excited to see what he can do on the playoff stage. Sadly Brewers will probably get the shaft and be playing 1:30pm ET weekday games unless they make the LCS.

Nice lookin' cards. While the hobby continues to snooze, just gotta accumulate. I guess maybe cause he's in Milwaukee, but if this guy was playing in NY, LA, etc....you'd never be hearing the end of the youngest guy ever to 20/20, generational talent.....
Take advantage of the large market bias, and general oversight going on. Wouldn't even surprise me if he blindsides everyone and wins ROY.

Chourio gets his 20th HR of the season and becomes the youngest player in MLB history to have a 20/20 season.

This kid is way underrated and Brewers are now looking like the smartest team in MLB to lock this kid up on the long term contract they did. Locked in until he's 30 years old Brewers will have the prime of his career before he can walk on them.

I think just what you said large market bias is going to prevent him from winning he probably is going to be pushed down to 3rd or 4th in the voting in the NL because of it.

Been looking at his 2024 chrome stuff, a lot are OC so I have a feeling that after a few years that his cards could get a nice bump with his play and the fact that not many 10s available.

My small, but growing, Chourio collection.

The TC True Blue was a must have for me. I overpaid, but I wanted one that had great centering.

Brewers cards since the move away from “the grain years” iconography are much more appealing. The mb-ball-glove is way more iconic.

I assume you’re referring to Skenes (Pirates) and Jackson Merrill (Padres) finishing ahead of him in ROY voting? Those aren’t exactly “big market” teams like NY, LA, or Chicago …. I like Chourio too but it’s just a really strong class of NL rookies this year….

voting for Merrill and chourio should be pretty close although the edge probably goes to Merrill since he’s been a little more consistent throughout the year. I think Chourio has a bigger upside though…

I started a small collection of Chourio 1st Bowmans before he really started getting noticed widely, found out about him when one of BA's writers was all raving about him. Kind of tapered off after awhile, but I agree with everyone after slow start people kind of forgot about him but he's put up a great season. Have a pretty nice one at PSA im waiting on, will post when it pops..hopefully soon.

And what a 20th homer it was. Taking an up and in fastball to the opposite field in Oracle of all places, the power potential is there. I could easily see the power coming on considerably next year. Wouldn't shock me if he goes 35/25 next year and pushes a .300 average.

Think a lot of people are going to feel like they missed out on getting him when he was cheap-ish in June/July this year. I personally am excited to get the few low # Finest parallels I sent off to PSA back.

I have a small pile of nice Chourios to send to psa eventually. They’re PC, so not in a huge hurry. Probably wait until mid winter. Anyway, have a Chrome blue /150, SSP photo variation, a radiating rookies insert, and just bought a BC GPK yesterday that looks pretty nice.

Chourio will definitely be an off season target for me.
