I told my spouse the premise of this thread.

They firmly disagreed with me and went on at length to talk through all the dream scenarios that they'd pass up if offered a similar choice then threatened to join BO to voice said opinion and roast me good.

“Have Your Spouse Join Blowout For A Week” would be the most wonderful kind of chaos.

Some of our regulars might not survive, however.

My wife knows my card nonsense. She would also roast me good and tell everyone about my obsession with hating Russell Wilson.

What happens if I get injured on carry #3 and I have four yards but cannot continue that day?

When I am healthy (next game, six weeks, next season) can I come back to pick up that last yard?

Love all the people saying "I'm athletic, I could do it".
6', 200-lb Reggie Bush finished a season with -3 yards on 12 carries. Don't be so sure of yourself.

Do all the carriers have to happen in the same game? Can I spread them out to collect multiple game checks?

When I won the contest were all my affairs in order so that my family would be taken care of in case the worst of the worst happened?

Which stadium am I in? What is the temperature and weather? Day or night?

The question we're really overlooking is who is calling the plays? If you've got Mike or Kyle Shanahan scheming things up, I'm taking my $10 million to the bank. Freddie Kitchens? I'll sit this one out.

Thank god Rodgers is gone or I wouldn't even get to touch the ball.

2016 Reggie Bush Game stats, for his last 4 games.

BUF @ MIA 1 rush, 1 yard
BUF VS SF 2 rushes, 6 yards
BUF @ LA 1 rush, 3 yards.

Reggie Bush, 4 rushes for 10 yards. He gets $10MIL! And only needed 4 carries! We get 10!

Last game was 3 rushes for -4 yards. Thanks to a failed end around. But by then, he already won the "rather"

Mike and Kyle would give us the best shot.

Question…
Does the defense know it’s me back there? Can they see my shaking knees and ill-fitting jersey? Are they selling out to stop the run? Do I have to take a handoff or can I just wildcat in behind Trent Williams and Aaron Banks for 10 plays?

Also, I looked it up, actual NFL RBs average about 2yds before contact per attempt.

The opposing defense has been informed that the guy who claimed to have banged their moms on XBox Live is taking the handoff.

Sort of like the opposite of a Make-A-Wish kid.

So many unanswered questions.

Just to verify, we are talking 10 carries to get a total of 5 yards? Not 10 tries to get 5 yards on one play?

Also, does negative yardage count against you if you lose yards?

I'm 42 and 5'9, and a very doughy 250. Have never played organized football in my life. Never worn pads in my life. 10 million. I have to think they could draw up one play that nets me 2 yards, and then 6 QB sneaks to make it happen. I could just go under the center's legs, although getting crushed would not be ideal. I don't think I could hit any kind of hole in time to even fall down for a half a yard though. Any play that wasn't a QB sneak would immediately result in a 5-6 yard loss. If lost yards don't count, I'm tempted. I do think I would have an 80/20 chance of dying upon first contact though. This is tough.

For $10MIL, I can take some unideal crushing! The people saying we couldn't do it, have probably never played ball. Professional Lineman can open up a hole. It doesnt have to be big, as you only need to average 1.5 feet per carry,

I'd put in my goal line package, even if i was midfield. And give the OK for them to scrum the hell out of me, and have my hogs push me into the pile. All I have to worry about is holding the ball, and not falling to a knee.

QB sneak everytime. I’m sure you can fall forward for a foot and a half, with some lard pushing you from behind.

See, if the Defense can sell out to stop the run it would basically turn in to a goal line situation. Could 10 goal line QB sneaks net you 5 yards?

I think they could. As Grid said, we're talking 18 inches per play. Just fall down under the center's legs every time.

I don't think we're asking the right questions.

Are we in full NFL gear, uniform with pads, helmet, cleats?

Or

Are we in street clothes, wearing a pair of Pit Vipers, below the knee cargo shorts, Hanes pocket tee, backwards ball cap with socks and slides?

Back in the day I played a few pick-up basketball games with borderline NFL players. Guys that maybe got into training camp or practice squads. They were freaks of nature. I also saw future NFL players hoop it up. Even more out of this world athletic. BTW, these were all offensive position players. I hate to imagine getting tackled by 6’3 280 linemen. I dont care how big or fast you think you are, NFL players are different breed of athlete.
