Of course they’re a stronger team with out Halliburton leading. It should have been Nesmith all along.

After 3 straight games of under 10 points, Nemith's season average has dropped back down to single digits.

I'm really worried that guys like Embiid and Jokic are catching up in the MVP race.

Well yeah, because he stopped semi-running the offense and getting looks with math and ty back. And the Pacers took a step back. Now granted, Hali's first game back, may have overreacted. But they need to really share the ball more equitably if they want a chance. Stopped passing, but as Carsyle said a lot was learned and you seldom have growth without upheaval.

Still upset the Pacers traded away Sabonis. Didn't like it when it happened and hate it more every day.

If they were okay with it, I bet they could get him back, along with Fox and Huerter, for Nesmith.

I made the mistake of watching the Pacers broadcast today...

holy $hit... this color analyst is awful.

All he did all game was complain about things and talk about how the Bucks are bound to fall apart soon because they are too old.

I honestly have no idea how Chris Denari puts up with him for a WHOLE season. I live in Indiana so I get every Pacers game. They have a nice young team, but he makes it tough to watch too many games.

I thought the play by play guy was fine. The other guy is Bush League

Yeah... that's Chris Denari - Quinn Buckner is the one I wish they'd replace. NOT gonna happen tho.

Buckner has been doing Pacers games since 1998. Denari since 2006.

Funny, cause I split between the Pacers crew and others, and I find them one of the less offensive. Some such as maybe Charlotte are completely unlistenable.

I have to agree with you there. Charlotte's guy is terrible as well.

And I get being overly enthusiastic about your own team, but the Pacers color guy just seems very bitter that his team is in the dumps and the Bucks are on top.

It's not really a normal broadcast at this point in the season. They're sitting all the top scorers and there's not much to talk about.

I've had League Pass since 2004 so I've seen a lot of different broadcasts. Quinn isn't gonna win any awards, but I prefer him and Chris over the majority of other team feeds.

Quinn is more hype man than anything at this point.

He has his moments when he gets so excited he can't even get the words out. He has his moments when he is so against a call he is basically one of the fans in the stands. But, he also has a lot of knowledge and can break down a play. He does that less and less these days it feels like.

Him and Chris make a good duo though, because Chris plays right off of him and keeps it rolling.

I've really grown to enjoy OKC's TV crew, Chris Fisher and Michael Cage. Paris Lawson is solid as the sideline reporter.

I love Joel Myers for the Pelicans.

What the heck is Buddy singing during the Gabe York locker room interview segment?

I like what McConnell says about playing as a collective, it doesn't matter if anyone scores 20 if all pistons are firing.

I never make it revolve around me. I just write what interests. I know it takes up precious paper and newsprint. But otherwise a thread like this would just die.

For historical purposes when the Ps take the crown next annum...

Nah, I made Pacers threads in the past that people participated in, even if it was just a few of us. For the most part, I've stayed away from this one. The hyperbole is insufferable.

Prior to this year I thought that the Pacers were one of the best represented fan bases around here (as far as quality of posters, not necessarily quantity of posters).

That was until this season.

Ok well we have different styles. grant me that. Some people read and appreciate my stuff for what it is. you know like finds like.

Maybe I dont fit the mold of Indy fans. I have never been to the city, its just collecting that took me there. And yeah I get that I am not your typical collector. But what I say has some insight, even if I occupy a very narrow vantage.

I am not gonna reminisce about Pacers legends because that's not my thing. I'm assuming that's what you did on the other long gone threads? One can write about whatever, just make it relevant.... go on for pages with a debate about Reggie Miller vs. George McGinnis for all I care. I'll chime in when crash makes a huge dunk or I see an awesome Nembhard last second 3.

and, all credit to McConnell Hali, and the rest, nesmith has been a huge part of why the Pacers became relevant this year. I'm allowed to gloat a little right.

Mostly just the few of us commiserating about the season as it played out. Random interesting things or big games.

Not so much of a style that you have, focused on mainly one guy. But, all good. Like you said, everyone has their own style.

It's a long season.
