They’ll probably hit Arreaz in his first at bat tomorrow.

White Sox reasons. They clear the benches for farting in their general direction.

Seriously? To back into a no-hitter the cheap way? This guy is a competitor. You don't do that after 8.2 IP.

Yes, seriously. A no hitter is a no hitter, there is no cheap no hitter. Those were in 2020 with 5-7 IP's.

It's just why bother pitching to the top hitter in the league when you pretty much have the no-no locked with the next guy on deck? The first guy up was essentially a guaranteed out (rookie with no career hits), so you're basically working with two outs. Then, ANOTHER rookie Celestino, good chances for out #2. Take out Araez and it changes it drastically in your favor to finish it off.

If he walked Arraez in that situation, people would say he’s a chicken and cowardly for pitching around him. He wanted to get out the best hitter in their lineup with the no-hitter on the line. Wish he got it done but respect the boldness of the decision.

I agree with this

I'll take the no hitter over boldness

Larissa’s gone. Otherwise he’d apologize to the twins for the no hitter attempt.

Default Dylan Cease

I know nothing about Cease except the stats. Found this digging through my 3200 count box of cards to list for sale.

Is this hodl for spring training? If I list now, what is the BIN I should use. There’s two listed on eBay at absurd prices that I know are not anything accurate at all.

I think pretty much every card is a hodl for spring training except whoever gets hot for the Phillies and Asteroids (as my sister calls them) over the next week.

That's a 2020, but yes.

7 players named Dylan appeared in MLB this year. The first such player appeared in 2011 and there have only been 10 overall so far.

Assuming you meant 2020, I actually thought the opposite.

Since this thread floated up yesterday...

Hit the 1/1 in the 2020 Rip Party, and obviously had to grab the rest.
