Nice card. I have always liked the look of Gold Standard. Along with Obsidian they just look nice and unique. Great pick-up.

Gold standard is looking really good this year. Just ordered a Kaleb Eleby.

Remember the "Kaleb Eleby" era ... it was a glorious weekend awhile back...

Also - Happy birthday week to a certain Seahawks starter.... A plethora of people attended his birthday before the draft... just ask Kevin Costner.

Thought this was a fun one - still lots of AP fans out there, I know a lot of people wanted him back as a coach this year after his influence on Penny - Complete AP Adrian Peterson Seahawks PC:

Also thought its funny that every time Eskridge gets the ball - it looks like he's looking for someone to TRUCK. One of the defensive players even got a penalty when Eskridge tried to truck him and failed. Not getting all the Select parllels, but liked this one:

One of the favorite pages in my Seahawks PC(still missing a few):

Seahawks Precious Metal Gems PMGs - REDs 1997 - Walter Jones, Shawn Springs and friends... I know how condition sensitive these are, so kind of scared to touch/move them - hence still in pages...

Called the most DangeRuss "kids" toy RW ever endorsed. Somehow I missed these when they first came out, found this one at a thrift store in with the baby/little kid toys, so I am guessing they didn't know what it was, as supposedly these really hurt to catch and I wouldn't give it to a small child.

It now comes in Broncos Country "Let's Ride" Orange only.

I know a lot of people aren't fans - but Cody Barton seems to be playing better lately - and lest we forget , it was his clutch play towards the end of the Broncos game that setup that crazy end sequence.

Looks like I picked the right week to post this.... Who had the Bartinator down for ending Brady's completion without a pick streak.

One of the best Gridiron Heights yet --- with 100% more Geno cameos

I'll post something a little more random this week.

So 2 things I also keep in my Seahawks PC - are I try to get at least 1 card of every Seahawk who has a card.

And I also collect cards of other teams/players who have a Seahawks player appear in them. Sometimes those 2 things overlap - several players never had a card, but appeared on other teams cards. Now I have always called these "cards of other teams that Seahawks players appear on".

But recently in the Basketball forums someone made a thread of Shaq "Cameo" cards. Where Shaq appears on someone else's card.... Much better name.

And for this particular card... I only found it because of mine and the Seahawks love of the 2013 draft.

So in 2013 they apperantly way over printed a LOT of cards, as 2013 boxes were on clearance for years afterwards... SO I ended up opening more 2013 boxes/packs then all other years 2010-2019 combined. This does mean I did have a few nice Geno's before he even joined the Seahawks....

Then the Seahawks team fell in love with the 2013 draft and over the next few years tried to pick up every player from the 2013 draft.

So at some point the clearance boxes finally dried up and I went to picking up Eddie Lacy, Luke Joeckel, and Dion Jordan singles.

I also ended up collecting Eric Fisher - with the hope he'd someday join the Seahawks.

That's how I ended up seeing this Seahawk's Cameo card of you guessed it.... Jacob Martin...

As far as I know Jacob Martin has no other cards, so this is his rookie card (in the same way Daniel Jones appears on Black cat's rookie card.

The original Matty Ice:

finally picked up a Black-and-White-Checker-Prizm:

2021 Panini Prizm - [Base] - Black and White Checker Prizm #44 - Will Dissly

Not a rookie, but liked this for some reason:

More Matty Ice:

Chad... ok:

1999 Upper Deck Encore - [Base] - F/X #160 - Chad Brown /100

Let the Wayne Gallman era commence? Read an articel that the Seahawks had picked up a former RB nemesis.... He never crossed my mined, before I clicked the link, I was thinking Frank Gore or Steven Jackson, or someone like that..... Not random Giants player who happened to have a good game against the Seahawks 1 time.....

One of Brock's top rookies, and its 74/93... if it was on eBay, it'd be an eBay 1/1.

Great stuff. Love the Huard DE diecut. Some of my favorite cards from the late 90's.

Cannot believe they're in contention to win the division yet again this year. Good times.

Was hoping they'd pick up a big run stopper... Let's see if he's active for Sat...

I was looking at his cards, and was like, why all these pics of him on the Steelers if he was with the Panthers...... Nope its Iowa.

Looks like the Seahawks now lead the 49ers 3-1 in former Hawkeyes.
https://www.ourlads.com/ncaa-footbal...ege/iowa/90751

Trying to think of a Nick Bell joke here, maybe a Raiders fan has one.

Looks to be a COLD game.

Neon Geon Smith still hasn't called back - but Panini did a couple of times.

Side note - has anyone seen any pack pulled Seahawks Geno Smith cards? I still haven't..... Also - did Panini forget the difference between 1s and 0s since 2019? Nice to get a K9 2122 card.

Finally felt like scanning - so here is a bunch of cool new Seahawks stuff, and some oddballs too

As PC would say - I'm Pumped and Jacked that Geno is coming back next year and on a team friendly deal.... kinda shocked on that after some of the other recent contracts.

He is certainly starting to look like the "Geno of all time" or GOAT for short.

Hopefully come out of the draft with a couple big DTs and a L33T Center and I'll call the draft a win.

This sparks joy:

Losing Penny and Homer does not spark joy

Homer got paid so I understand... but for the contract Penny got - he must have wanted to leave....

I see a lot of people happy about Barton leaving... I don't understand that - it would have been great if they could have brought him back to compete/backup/special teams - but he got paid too. SO wish him the best with the WTFs(except when they play the Seahawks).

Hoping to add some nice ARich mojo once we draft him at 5.

With Lock now signing for 4 milliion, it seems less likely that the Seahawks are going QB at 5......

Unless of course if JS thinks one of the QBs is Man!

I'm guessing ARich is gone by 5, but if he's still there, and they do pick him - I would hope it would be with the plan of getting him 10+ snaps a game in a SLASH role and with a 4th and 1 package too. Then let him compete with Geno in year 2 or 3.

Based on the FA signings - its looking like they will be able to go pure best player available at each spot, and maybe a few trade downs if the get a good offer.

That's what I originally thought a few weeks back, until the Raiders secured Graps (always thought they were going to trade up to grab Richardson). It all comes down to what Indy does. Historically, they've tended to lean towards traditional pocket passers, which makes me think they'll go Levis at 4.

I think A Rich could be surprisingly good in Seattle's system. Even just based on his raw size and running ability, they could utilize him in the same way the Bears have used Fields these past 2 seasons. Our physical, west coast offense has proven to be the most effective, despite how surprisingly well Geno played this past season. It's just not a winning formula slinging the ball that much especially when drives are stalled, since you lose the TOP battle by a wide margin...especially considering how bad our defense is.

And while it's not exactly the safest route opening up your qb to an unnecessary amount of hits/punishment, that didn't stop PC and company from doing the same to Russ for over a decade.

ARich is an absolute physical specimen. I honestly don't think we've seen anything like this before. He's legit built like DK with his breakaway speed. If his arm is even remotely as good as advertised, he's going to be dangerous.

very big signing for the trenches. evan brown poached from the lions elite front line. hopefully will be our new max unger. will forever hate that jimmy graham trade.

edit: as im typing this, apparently signed Devin Bush LB from steelers. wonder if he can find his spark with us. sure hope he impresses in camp cus seahawks suddenly need LB badly. how can you not want a wagner reunion too, right?

Like the signings so far - also hoping Evan Brown is man at center or they draft someone good. I'm not seeing that he has any cards though.

Looks like a flyer on a former top pick AND the 2019 draft seems to be turning into the new 2013 draft for the Hawks... see how many of the top picks from 2019 they can collect....

Some other cool pickups and a few older cards. Wish they still made cards that looked like that Kitna...

and my buddy still has a chunk of the Kingdome rubble...

And I gotta say -=- the Dunlap release was the one player move I really didn't understand last year.... but at least he got his ring(after a lot of years with the Bengals, and then joining the Hawks for their one down year)

And I am off the draft Jalen Carter at 5 bus.... Just getting too many Malik vibes

If they do draft him and give him 94 - can always use this again.....

Couple of new pickups - really like the 100 years set from 2019 and got the top card from it now....

D.K. Metcalf 2019 Panini Instant 100 years 1/1!
Too bad it was removed from its sealed Panini holder - oh, well - got it for cheaper since it was though.
(Just a reminder for the Panini instant sealed cards - leave it sealed. Kinda like the peel/don't peel for Finest cards)

And a couple of Dre'Mont Jones Leaf rookies Seattle Seahawks 2019 - Seller threw in some bonus cards.... of course they were Broncos.

Pretty excited about this pickup:

2006 SPx Tarvaris Jackson Spectrum Parallel Jersey Auto Rookie RC 07 of 25 Vikings/Seahawks Full signature and INSCRIBED 'TJACK'

Would love to find an on-card inscription, but haven't found one yet.

There's been one of these listed on eBay for seems like years now in my watchlist - but listed for Black Rose prices, tried making offers a couple of times, but was rejected.... so got excited when another seller offered one of these for auction.

Mine was the only bid, so I now present:

That's awesome! I am a sucker for the old SPA and SPX Golds/spectrums /25. I still have some nice T-Jacks including his 2011 National Treasures Reebok logo 1/1. Just wish the logo colors matched the uniform. Patch is purple from his vikings days but the pic is in a Hawks uniform.
