I looked and couldn't find any Spidey Metal Universe either.

But I did learn that DACW is paying a lot for a lot of boxes. Even KSW is $35/box in your pocket. Wow

Anyone know what's going on with this set? Blowout still lists a March 30 release date, someone earlier posted May 30 but other websites say TBA or TBD.

No, nobody knows.

A UD rep said on a podcast he was a guest on that it's likely late Spring or Summer.

So, we're all guessing until UD gives us a real date.

That's what I thought. At least the delay gives me time to save up money to buy a case on e-Pack. With prices for physical boxes/cases already wildly inflated, e-Pack seems like the way to go and I bet it'll sell out much faster than X-Men Metal did.

Everyone knows there's going to be an insane level of hype when this product finally hits e-pack. Probably why a lot of other PMGs are being locked down, which in turn is causing prices to spike even more. It does make me a little nervous, I'd rather have slow steady gains over crazy spikes.

I’m a tad concerned this will get watered down with really only 2 PMG’s (red and green) and a bunch of different non-PMG base (which may not be numbered other than the 1/1).

Oh yeah I see what you're saying. The same amount of reds, greens, etc plus orange and turquoise? They're definitely upping the number of boxes and spreading out the hits.

No reason to think the Pink's won't be /75 like the X-Men set. The other two will go one of two ways, IMO. I could see:

Turquoise /50 & Orange /25

Or

Both not numbered. Haha.

If they're numbered, it won't mess with production numbers to badly. If they aren't, who knows how much more they'll print.

Either way it'll sell out and it'll sell out fast on ePack.

That's absurd. DACW was pre-selling boxes for $239.95 last summer. Nobody should buy at these inflated prices but people will and that just means prices will keep going up up up.
