Raw copy with a chunk missing off the front surface is over $115 with 45 minutes left. Because it is centered....

HOLY CRAP

$330 with a hole in it!

PSA 10 is at $15,100. My God, what would an O-Pee-Chee PSA 10 sell for?

*Edit: another 1982 BBM sold for $258.75 tonight...hope everyone is getting in on early Hogan, it's looking like things are about to erupt.

Hmmm...did we possibly have a schiller cancel their bid? PSA 10 is down to $12,500 tonight.

All of the 2015 Topps Chrome autos were hit over the past few weeks @ $500+. A beat to hell autographed 1985 Topps sold for $200 today. Non-Leaf pack pulled stuff (Topps) seems to be rising quickly along with in person vintage autographs.

My buddy said I was crazy back in August when I bought a 2015 Topps Chrome Atomic Refractor Auto /5 for $500. He messaged yesterday to admit he may have been mistaken.

In theory, yes, due to volume. But we’re from removed from 1996 e-commerce. Buying raw cards online is basically playing with fire these days. You pretty much know you’re getting a defective card or one with major issues. While PSA May lack some consistency, I’m far more comfortable paying premium for a slabbed card over the internet vs a raw one.

dug through my boxes to find these.

Top 3 are in great condition other than centering
Bottom Left has a scuff mark on the front near his head
Bottom Right has a soft corner and a stain on the back.

Hey guys -- I posted this elsewhere before things took off, but now I'm seeking your collective advice.

At 2019's National in Chicago, I had my eye on a 1985 WWF box, the red one with Hulk Hogan. Back at the start of the pandemic, I just decided to buy it for like $399 or something that in retrospect looks really inexpensive. It's not something I'm looking to sell, but keep kind of forever.....

Long story short, I happen to live a block or 2 away from Hulk Hogan, and I see him a fair amount. I'm trying to get the courage to ask him to autograph the box, which is not YET BBCE sealed. Do you think that is wise or unwise? Should I just keep the box as is?

It would be something I'd keep in my office and ultimately leave to my kids as like a historical artifact, at which point they may sell it......so I'm just wondering if an autograph would make it really cool 1 of a kind, or ruin it?

Interesting idea and ultimately it’s your decision. My take is that the market for a signed box is much smaller. I’d prefer a regular photo signed...or get an empty box or top signed...or even a photo of the box would be quirky.

So you and the guy above both think “No” on the signature idea? Thank you for your views. I definitely appreciate it.

If you have easy access to him, I would recommend getting a high grade 1985 topps card or if you have the pockets, an 82 all star signed by him. I think those are the two cards that will appreciate the most in value. Might also see if you can track down something ring worn. BTW...I am super envious that you have such easy access to him.
