Could be - I've never seen a Brooklyn card in person, so I can't say for sure.

I hear you. There is one Cardinals player so I may either go for all 20 of his or pick one artist and go for all of his/hers.

Just downloaded the Topps App and in the banner you can see these two cards, was thinking these would be the first two based on what I saw, but this confirms it!

Looking at the Ichiro reminded me of the Sapphire cards.

I just bought one of the Artist Proof Ichiro (#/20), but what the heck is the difference between the Artist Proof and Base, beside the hand numbering??

Looks like the artist proof cards have a frame around them like you see in Gold Label boxes.

$19.99 artist drawn reprints of actual rookie cards is about as tone deaf to the current real world situation as it gets.

$399.80 for a complete player run or artist run.

$7996.00 for a complete set.

$1999.80 for a complete AP player run or artist run

$39,996.00 for a complete AP set.

I don't care for the first two artist reinterpretations, but I'm still interested in seeing what the other 18 come up with, especially Matt Taylor. Here's hoping we get 20 different cards, from 20 different artists for the first 10 days so we can determine if there's an artist series we want to collect.

The chance of gold frame (1/1) only comes with buying the base version.
Interesting!

Ichiro collector in me wants to buy 2 each of the Artist Proofs, but thinking that would be $4,000 spent just on Artist Proofs (without base), I'm thinking to just buy 1 each of the Ichiro Artist Proofs and some base for each.
Still over $2,000 to be spent...

At this price? NO WAY. I might pick up a card or two if they really stand out, but that's it for me.

My initial thought also, but I think I will collect just one player (wish it was Mantle).

I think this is actually pretty cool. The silver frames are priced higher than I'd be willing to spend, but the gold 1/1 randomly inserted is a step in the right direction.

I just did a quick review of all the artists. This is going to be interesting. Tyson Beck is definitely the one most suited for baseball cards. I think I may go with a couple artists.

Are we sure Stock X isn't behind this?
