Its LBJ's fault, you dont make a tribute to somebody who's still alive, Lebron did that to Kobe and put his name to his shoes last night. #superstition

I was never a fan but this has me feeling some sort of easy. This is so sad. RIP to him and the 4 others who lost their life.

It’s been years since I’ve had tears run down my face like this. Kobe was my favorite player and one of the best human beings. Damn it!!!

I'm almost speechless that's horrible. And as much as I hate to say it I'm sure there's going to be the douchebags that come out of the woodwork to try and profit off of it

R.I.P. to a great player. Way too young to die.

I dont think that is true. I hope that is not true.

The only confirmed info we know is 5 dead. And that his wife was not on board. So we can safely assume:
1 Pilot
2 Kobe
3 Kobe bodyguard (???)
4 ??
5 ??

Still early, but if its true that his children were present, that would put the occupancy beyond the 5 reported.

Kobe's children are 17, 13, 3 and 7 months.

Fingers crossed that ABC is mistaken, and his kids werent on board.

I also hope its a mistake, but ABC broke in on the probowl about 15 mins ago and suggested his kids were with him.

I’m shocked and saddened by the news. I had my only Kobe auto on eBay and someone just hit the BIN with instant payment. I wish I never listed the card.

ESPN reported also that is for children may have been with him. Holy Christ that's just devastating. My sympathy goes out to his wife and the rest of his family. I hope his wife has a lot of friends and family to supporter at this time.

Hoping his kids weren’t aboard with him.
(They can’t all have been - if there were five victims, Kobe and the pilot had to have been two, unless he flies himself?)

An S-76 copter fits up to 2 pilots(he used just one), and 4-8 passengers.
